A rising star in the fantasy genre, Michael J. Sullivan has built an ardent following for his Riyria Revelations saga, which draws to its epic conclusion in Heir of Novron.
On the holiday of Wintertide, the New Empire plans to burn the Witch of Melengar and force the Empress into a marriage of their own design. But they didn’t account for Royce and Hadrian finally locating the Heir of Novron—or the pair’s desire to wreak havoc on the New Empire’s carefully crafted scheme.
Heir of Novron contains Wintertide and Percepliquis, books 5 and 6 of Riyria Revelations.

"Spectacular fantasy series"
This has been a wonderful fantasy series. But like all good things it must come to an end. This was one of those series that drew you in and became more captivating the more you read. Micheal J. Sullivan did a great job. I will defiantly keep an eye out for more books by this author.
"Awesome! Solid 5 Star"
This book is the best in the series. It has everything one could look for in epic fantasy. It has shades of LOTR (Remember, you shall not pass!). ASOIAF for the back stabbing / political intrigue and share number of characters getting chopped off. One of the last battles reminded me of a combat from 'First Law Series'. These are pretty big names and this book has elements from all these books in it.
This book had me hooked from the start, and it is one of those book which will entice you to take the long route home hoping for more traffic. Humor made me laugh, depth of characters made me feel for their sorrow and triumphs and felt that this book will give reader an emotional ride while telling a story spanning thousands of years. There are some surprises in the book for good measure. Use of language is great, it flows beautifully and very enjoyable.
Tim Gerad Reynolds narrates like a grandfather telling a story to children, and does it so effectively. I thoroughly enjoyed the narration, and I hope to listen to more books from the narrator.
I had a great time listening to this book, and I highly recommend this book.
"A Great Captivating Series"
This book and in fact the entire series is filled with good and great moments. The ending was one of the most enjoyable, memorable, and satisfying endings I have read.
He did an excellent job of using voices that made it easy to quickly identify which character was speaking.
Smiled a smile of satisfaction in the end.
I really loved all three books. The writer did a GREAT job at keeping the story interesting at every turn. He also did a great job wrapping up the story in the end.
This was my first experience with this author, but not my last.
Great writing + great voice = hours of satisfying listening.
"Outstanding!!"
The gambit of emotions touched sadness, humor, and joy with every book in the series. What a wonderful ending for a great series. I didn't want it to end.
The relationship and hardships endured by both Royce and Adrian.
He captivated my attention with every sentence. Many audio books make you have to go back and recap. Not this one. He did an excellent job.
It was well done and yes, I shed a few tears of sadness and joy
best audio book since the Wheel of Time series.
"A Great Continuation"
When I saw this was released just the other day, I had to burn one of my credits. The series is great. Humor, action and a well developed story.
Royce is my favorite. The duality of man (Elf) and how the character transforms by degrees.
Laugh and I enjoyed every minute of the series.
"Second best series I have ever read/listened to."
I am rarely surprised by endings to books, and hardly ever in a good way. You can guess all you want you will NEVER guess the ending. And yes it is better than any you could come up with-ever!
The amount of time spent laughing while the party was in tense situations.
All of the main ones. The voices he gives to the characters, I imagine would be the same ones I would have given them in my head while reading them.
Listened to over 15 SERIES so far and by far this was my favorite!
Just a 36 year old male listening to some Fantasy. I do Urban Fantasy also. Ya that's right 220 titles in the library.
"Sad to see it end."
Yes. This is just a great story. It was written well, funny at times with a feel good ending.
I am not one to compare books. Each one seems very unique to me. Even if its the whole swords wizards and princess plot.
Tim Reynolds has a very unique way of doing female voices. I do not think I could have done them better in my head. I mention the female voices because, I read about other reviewers complaining about other narrators and there version of female voices. So I am giving Tim his due. Over all I will be looking out for other books that Tim Narrates.
I guess I was sad to see that the Trilogy ended. When you have a good book you really never want it to end. I do have to say the ended was fantastic. (all bases covered)
This Series is worth your time and money. Do not skip this one.
"Look at my Library..these books rank #1.."
I love these books.
He was great..
These books are so good....that I'm not looking forward to listening to anything on my wish list..there's no way another book could be as good. If you look at my library.. and like the types of books I've listened to.. you will love these books.
"Well Done"
Spell binding
Excellent character development and differentiation
Actuall makes you see the different characters in your mind's eye
"Wishing it wasn't over..."
Yes, but would start from book one, Loved the entire series. Rich characters I really grew to care about.
The last couple of hours!
Probably Hadrian, because he's suc a fun character. He voiced them all well and I never had any problem telling the characters apart.
Of course I laughed but I did something I almost NEVER do with books, written or audio...I cried. It took me totally by surprise that I did too and it made me mad since I had to redo my mascara! :)
START FROM THE BEGGINING! It's a must.
