Elijah Reynolds is the most dominant of lycans, a rare alpha whose skill on the hunt is surpassed only by his primal sexuality. When the lycans revolt due to the iron fist of angelic rule, he steps into command, becoming both enemy and coveted ally in the conflict between vampires and angels.

Vashti is the second most powerful vampire in the world, a lethal beauty who has left a path of devastation in her wake. Tasked with proposing an alliance between vampires and the lycans who killed her mate, Vash approaches Elijah, whose need to avenge a friend demands Vash’s death even as his passion demands her surrender.

Soon their enmity erodes beneath an all-consuming desire. Elijah has never encountered a woman whose warrior spirit and fierce sexual appetite rival his own, while Vash is faced with the one man strong enough to be her equal. But as war looms, they must decide where their loyalties lie - with their own kind or with the enemy lover they can no longer live without.

Wow! This book gets better and better! Love Rachel! She did an amazing job narrating this book.

Amazing

There was a little more action in this book than the first one in the series. I liked Elijah in the first book and also in this one,but I just couldn't get into him and Vashti as a couple. This is evidently a trilogy and from the research I did it sounds like it will be a while before the final one is available - seems she has to finish another series first for the same publisher, so you might want to wait before you start this trilogy otherwise you might be hanging for a while.

The narrator did an okay job but she needs to practice her male voices. She made Adrian sound kind of stilted.

Okay trilogy

What made the experience of listening to A Hunger So Wild the most enjoyable?

Great characters, good storyline. As always, I love Sylvia Day's vocabulary--always something to learn.

What other book might you compare A Hunger So Wild to and why?

A Caress of Wings

Would you be willing to try another one of Rachel Vivette’s performances?

No, she overread the parts. Very unnatural sounding at times. Very odd intonation.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I'll get back to you on that...
