In this first book in the New York Times bestselling Crash trilogy, the world is introduced to this generation's Romeo and Juliet: Jude Ryder and Lucy Larson—Explosive. Sizzling. Tragic.

A steamy summer encounter with bad boy Jude means trouble for Lucy. Her sights are set on becoming a ballerina, and she won't let anything get in her way . . . except Jude.

He's got a rap sheet, dangerous mood swings, and a fate to ruin the lives of girls like Lucy—and he tells her so.

But as rumors run rampant and reputations are destroyed, Lucy's not listening to Jude's warning. Is tragedy waiting in the wings? Or could this be the true love that every romantic dreams of?

With red-hot chemistry and shocking twists, this is a love story that is not to be missed.

I couldn't decide between 3 and 4 stars. I liked the story line and the twists and turns but it just kind of dragged on for me.

cute story

This is a great story... in line with Thoughtless or Beautiful Disaster. A well developed new adult series (this book is more YA but as a series, it's NA) with tension, love and the requisite personal growth of the genre. It really was the very best story, imperfections and all.

Oh, Lucy & Jude

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I did tear up toward the end.

Any additional comments?

Cassandra captured the character of Lucy VERY VERY well. For some reason, I just felt like the character Jude shouldn't have been portrayed as monotone and unenthusiastic. Even though he lived a life of hardship, doesn't mean he's emotionless. Where was the passion in his voice for Lucy?

Great book, not a fan of the narrator.

OMG! Jude has just reached ultimate Bad boy ( Kellan from Thoughtless series, and Travis Maddox from Beautiful Disaster) stauts! He is soooo going into the Bad Boy POT! WOW!... I so loved him then hated him then loved him... OMG!

I just wanted to yank that dang beanie right off his head soooo bad!!!! Lucy was such a great character as well... I loved this book... Even though there was not a lick of smex in it... It reminded me of Thoughtless... which is soooo hard to dooo... but Lucy was actually a better character that Keria I think. Lucy was way way stronger. I love the whole ballerina thing...

I can't hardly wait to listen to book 2!

Buy and Credit.... Yes Yes..
