"This fits my life -- and probably yours."
It fits my life - Forty-five minutes or so -- a trip to town? A flight from Denver to Chicago? Cleaning up after the party?
It fits my interests - and probably yours if you are reading these words. If you are not a scientist but wish to remain current with the exciting things that are happening in our time then this may be the only periodical you need. If you are a scientist but must address your reading time to your own field then this is for you. It may be that you are a parent and want to be able to help. I don't know a stock broker that doesn't use it.
It fits my pocketbook. It has provided me with entertainment in otherwise useless minutes -- and insights that have produced income for a less than a buck a week. Wow.
"Wonderful digest of the very latest research"
I've been reading this magazine for 15 years and find it one of the best and most condensed sources of the latest research. This magazine often contains summaries and digests of the major science publications (Nature, Science, etc), so you hear about the latest real science. The editors have consistently demonstrated savvy skill in choice of relevant research, not the sound bite pseudo science published by otherwise reputable sources. (Hydrogen car to save world energy crisis? Give me a break.)
