Too Slow!

I read the first book, and enjoyed it. It stops on a "cliffhanger". So I bought this book. Boy it is slow. A paper book you can skim or skip sections. This was slow for several chapters - so much so I gave up on it. Too bad. Like I said, I really enjoyed the first book.
