Adri Paige is too busy dealing with the emotional fallout from losing half of her family to deal with boys. At least she thought so until the two most intriguing guys in her new school take an interest in her.
Both boys are gorgeous and blessed with obscene amounts of money. They should have the emotional depth of note cards, but instead display undercurrents she doesn't fully understand. Rumors the pair destroys peoples' livelihoods seem ludicrous until she gets caught in the crossfire and her family almost loses their home. She's increasingly unsure either boy is really human, and their rivalry is rapidly turning deadly.

What did you love best about Broken?
Oh my! Where to start! Adri and her mother have relocated to a new town to escape the heartbreak of losing her father and sister in a tragic car wreck. Adri suffers from anxiety that makes her black out and lose time. She has never been one to let herself get involved with boys, a bit of a book worm, but not really the girl boys typically fawn over. We have Brandon, seemingly the boy every girl wants but is only interested in her, but why? Alec is the other male that is interested. The boys are polar opposites from their hair to their interactions with her. Adri has no idea what she has walked into when she starts hanging with Brandon. This book has such great depth. Dean Murray has created a story that left me wanting more. I want more Alec, I want more Rachel, and I want more Adri. I am excited to see where this story goes as the characters age/mature. This book will gear towards YA and NA readers alike, albeit limited on the steam factor.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Broken?
One of my favorite moments was the climax towards the end, wondering what happened in the big fight. Anticipation was huge.Have you listened to any of Sandy Rustin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is my first audio book from Sandy Rustin. Sandy did a great job giving each character their own personality via accents. She provided great depth to the book and was well prepared. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I loved this book and can only equate it in likeness to Twilight. It was a great read both visually and in audio. (I did both). The Werewolf Version of Twilight minus the Vamps.
