I preferred this to the first book in the series. I adored this one. Though I am a little over the wine lover background...

"Great Series!"
What made the experience of listening to A Lot Like Love the most enjoyable?I really enjoyed the storyline and the characters - although this was wasn't quite as suspenseful as the first one in this series - I still really enjoyed it very much.
What did you like best about this story?The characters and also I enjoyed learning a bit more about wine industry.
What does Karen White bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?She does a really great job of bringing these characters alive.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?Yes and I did just that!

What other book might you compare A Lot Like Love to and why?Julia Garwood, but funnier.
What does Karen White bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?I like the pace and the emotion she brings to the characters.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?Yes. I would fall asleep listening to it then wake up and start listening to it again.

"Fun Series!"
Would you listen to A Lot Like Love again? Why?Yes, I would. I really enjoyed the series.
Who was your favorite character and why?Nick, of course. Julie James makes her male characters desirable.
Which character – as performed by Karen White – was your favorite?I didn't have favorite character in particular that Karen performed. She performed all characters perfectly. Karen White really brought the book to life, Loved her!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?I love when the lead characters first meet.
Any additional comments?Great, fun series!

"Another good book Julie"
Would you listen to A Lot Like Love again? Why?Yes I would. Unlike the first book this one takes you primarily from the male's perspective. It is a different take on love. When it comes to these two communication seems to be key but neither one seems to know how to do it well.
What was one of the most memorable moments of A Lot Like Love?When Nick sits Jordan down in the back of the cop car and tells her that she screwed up his live and that he is in love with her. Probably one of the most heartfelt moments in the entire book.
Which character – as performed by Karen White – was your favorite?Jordan's brother Kyle. To me he seems like the type of guy a girl would be luck to get.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?When Nick brought Kyle clothes after he got out of jail. He may be interested in Jordan but he still remembered her brother and the things he may need.

"strong, sexy, princess"
What did you love best about A Lot Like Love?the humor is great in all the books. This is #2 and humor wonderful.
the relationship between brothers and sister/brother so fun. the books are linked together, but you do not have to read in order.
What was one of the most memorable moments of A Lot Like Love?when Nick talks to his brothers regarding not making the "party"
What about Karen White’s performance did you like?Karen's pace is great. This saves her not so great men's voice. She can read Ms James works very well. I have gotten use to her voice and now I am enjoying her a lot.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?I did not want the books to end.
Any additional comments?these are not serious mysteries, but have lots of good pace and story you will love.

"I really liked the first and last book!"
This middle book, although entertaining, did not hook me like Book One and Three. Yes, I listened to them out of order and surprisingly, had no problem with understanding and putting the stories together. This book lagged a little for me because it did take a lot of time talking about wine and didn't have as much action. With that said, Julie James is an excellent writer and Karen White is the perfect narrator for her books. Although I'm not giving this book 5 stars the questions is would I download the next book in this series? Absolutely!

"Amazing how wine can lead to so much fun"
What a like about Jordon is she sticks to her conviction and stays on track as to why she reached out to the FBI. Who can blame McCall for chasing down Jordon. Got to love those FBI agents. The story is fun. It is not wild but enjoyable. Sexy and romantic. Narration is good. This series reminds me a lot of K Sparks minus the vampires. Worth a credit Not a lot guns, action and you are not a roller coaster ride but it’s enjoyable.
