Very fun listen

Very humorous story about an average girl who finds herself thrown into a who dunnit mystery, while she is trying to prove her boyfriend is innocent. It is similar to a Stephanie Plum mystery, where all the bad things happen to Maddie and she is the only one on the right trail. The wittiness of the characters is fun to read and the story moves along at a great pace..... I am going to purchase the next book today.

I liked this book. It was light and entertaining. I liked the pace of the narrator, the characters and the humor.

Spying in High Heels offers a light suspense story with a little romance. The story was not intense enough for me.

Probably not. This book was a good deal for $4.95, but I wouldn't spend a full credit on another Gemma Halliday.

The voices weren't unique enough to enhance character development.

What a fun book...a light "read"!

Perfect series of books for the long commute. Humorous...O definitely laughed more than a few times.

Could have been fun

Story was a good idea. Narration was good. I found I really started to resent that she seemed to be horny all the time and blonde and dumb. Felt too stereotypical. So 3 stars.

cross between stephanie plum and hanna swensen. slow to start but worth finishing. very cute. not for teen readers.

Great listen .... but ......

This ended up being worth the credit . But it should not have been categorized as an erotic book. There was a lot of teasing banter and initial beginnings between Maddie and Ramirez but no closing the deal. What sexy times that did occur was the sex between the mc s best friend and various men. Still the mc s best friend is having said wild trysts behind a veil of innuendo.


Having stated my only real issue with this book. I found the snarky dialogue and tension of the love triangle between Maddie and her potential lover Ramirez and her boyfriend too entertaining . The boyfriend a lawyer with his own share of issues and secrets provides several moments of levity and of course affects his relationship with Maddie. The overall plot was excellent .

Engaging and hilarious

Terrific book. Chuckle and full belly laugh inducing. Engaging story line. Fabulous performance! Well done!
