Ms. Sagara, is one of my favorite authors, she is a great world builder and gives incredible depth to her charactrrs. The Chronicles of Alantra is a must read!!!

I love this series

I love this series and can't wait for each new book. I have worked my way through this series several times each time I fall more and more in love with the characters each time. the plight of elantra is again in the hands of corporal handred and private neya. kaylin is tasked to help in the containment of magic spill over. the elements have shown distress and there is something on its way to elantra

NOT steamy.

I wonder when kaitlyn will ever get tired of ppl cutting her down when she's done so much for her world over and over again. Readers don't think this is any type of romance or love story. It's just a story... nothing more.

Cast in Chaos

I really like this series and all the books. The narration and the characters are excellent. Minor problems in the writing but this does not detract from the story.

Great read

Great read. Loved it, She continues to mature. The interaction between her and Severn is interesting to see.

Love the story and performance

I love the Chronicles of Elantra stories. The performer brings the story to life and makes it even more enjoyable than the written book.

Kaylin, magic, strangers & monsters

Possible Spoilers:
Magic goes hyper in Elantra and the Oracles are stirred up. Everly is creating a large canvas. There is a portal forming and an army heading their way…or are they just refugees?
They are being hunted by a growling monster who Tara has identified as The Devourer. Or is he eating words because he’s missing part of himself? And what is his link to the elemental garden?
Kaylin is pulled into the center of the magic & mystery & action. Her grace period is running out in being presented to the Dragon Emperor. She’s met Lord Tiamaris, Lord Sanabalis and, in the last book, the Arkon. In this story, she also meets Lords Diarmat and Emmerian. The highlights for me were Kaylin & Severn comments on love and loss and want and need in the long dialogue with The Devourer near the end. The (as yet unidentified) people who traveled from another world have a moving drum ceremony to expose contamination by shadows, then the majesty of the dragon’s flight. It’s great that Tiamaris has room for the strangers in his fief. For sure we know they’ll be in future stories.
The only downside for me in Sagara books is these little gaps throughout. Like no name for these strangers. I checked out the ebook for this story through my public library’s Hoopla app to see if I missed the name, but couldn’t find anything in a search.

Hvam: still saying un-jents instead of un-gwents. And it’s Nay-cent, not Nass-cent. Sigh. Everything else is there.

Amazing Book Cant wait for the next one

Wow...this series is one I stumbled on because the first Novella was free, boy I am glad I did I have listened to each book so far, and was so frustrated that I made it through them all so quickly, I must admit I listened to while driving to and from work and while cooking so to be fair I was addicted. Its a great series and very powerful, I cant wait for the next book. Boy I hope she writes fast.

Michelle Sagara has a way of keeping this series from getting stale. I really like the main character and the changes in each book.

I really like this series, even though the events seem to take place within weeks of each other, her main character grows up just a little more in each episode.

I have really enjoyed this series with the exception of the frequency of profanity. .
