Millionaire Kane Dennison's first mistake had been carrying an injured Willow Nelson inside his home, which, as a rule, was off-limits. Of course, she'd needed his help, but his one kind gesture had her believing he was a nice man. He wasn't.
His second mistake had been surrendering to passion after warning Willow to run away. Because a woman like her deserved better than a one-night stand. She believed in soul mates. He trusted no one - needed no one. And not even Willow was going to change him!

"Nice second installment"
This is part two of SM's "millionaire man" series and, though not quite as good as the first book, is a decent continuation of the Nelson girl's saga. I wasn't drawn to the female lead quite as much in this story as I was in the first because her quirkiness sometimes borderlines on irritating, but she was still very likable. I loved the male lead - he was strong and brooding, but when he fell in love he fell head over heals.
I recommend reading the "Substitute Millionaire" first just to set the stage and get a sense of the characters.
"LOVE THE MILLIONAIRE BOOKS- ALL 3"
TWO thumbs up and download the other 2 Millionaire books by Susan Mallery. Three sisters, three millionaires lend to THREE sexy sweet books. LOVED all three.
I have an addiction to Audio books. What I can't get at the library, I come to Audible and they are always having a sale. I have way more audiobooks than I could possible listen to in over 3 years, but I can't help but adding to my collection and I read a little of everything but mostly romance and paranormal goodies.
"Best of the Series"
For the price this was a very cute story. I liked the characters and the simplicity of the stories. This is the second of the series.
"Best Book of the Series"
This was definitely a book I wanted to listen to all at once. The series is really entertaining, albeit a little corny. Catherine Carr is wonderful and I wish she could have read the other books, especially the third one. If you're looking for something fun, short and sweet, this series is a good bet and worth the 1 Credit/$.
"Started out annoying but turned out OK."
Five on a scale of one to ten.
When he threatened the ex and the father.
This was the first.
I wouldn't make a film of it.
I love books, it's my great escape.
"Expect the unexpected, its a 5 star treat!"
I have to say this is my favorite book in the series. I loved Kane and Willow's story. I think Willow is also my favorite sister. The romance is very well done is this one. On at heat scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the hottest, it’s an 11. I really wish this was not such a short story; I wanted to hear more about Kane and Willow. I also like the Narrator in this one, it’s not the same narrator as in book #1 but this narrator is very good too. This is a triple threat, good story line, lovable characters and steamy romance. This one is a hit with me.
To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.
"Cute and Entertaining"
The story was cute and entertaining. Although willow had me going for a few. I thought she was a true airhead. A loveable fluff ball. However, I saw that it was her way of getting through Kanes defenses.
Swept Away By Romance
"Enjoyable 2nd book!"
Loved the story, wasn't a fan of the narrator. For the life of me I don't understand why the same narrator wasn't used in all 3 books in this series, since the characters from the first book have a heavy presence in this book and no doubt in the third one, which has a different narrator too! I want my characters to stay true to form and with the constant changing of voices, that's not happening.
I enjoyed Willow and Kane, she was quirky and fun, he was private and withdrawn. Willow just being Willow talked herself right into Kane's life. It was pretty funny and awfully cute! Not much drama, a sweet ending, and nice lead in to the next book!
"lightweight and predictable but also enjoyable"
No, I seldom re-listen to a book unless it is one of my all-time faves...this one was entertainingly short and fluffy.
I bought all three titles in this series...all predictably similar but entertaining.
no, not that I recall so I can't conduct a comparison.
Most books I want to listen to from start to finish but I don't have the time to do so. This book went by quickly though so it didn't take but a couple of days to finish.
none
"Disappointing"
Loved the 1st book in the series and was excited to download the second one. The female role in this book was so annoying. Really didn't believe that a man could far for a woman like Willow.
Not make Willow so annoying.
Yes.
Very Disappointed in the female role.
