Good Read (Listen)

I enjoyed this book. The author has an easy going writing style. She developed good characters and humor. This is the first of her books I have read and look forward to more. I listened on audible and the vocal was satisfactory. A bit hard to tell sometimes who was speaking because she didn’t have a wide range of voices. Her voice was pleasant and easy to listen too.

We enjoyed listening as we traveled! My husband really enjoyed laughing throughout the story with the mixed up clichés!! they were priceless and sometimes so true!!!!

This is the first book/audible I have listen to by the author and I am so happy to have found her!!

A great story of loss and love found that tugs at the heart. The characters were well developed and the narrator was perfect!

This is my second time listening to this it’s been a long time since I first heard it. Still just as good! Loved it! As always her work is phenomenal. I have loved every one of her books I’ve listened to! The narrator is very good in this one as well. Easy listen! Was interesting all the way through. Very good storytelling!

I really like this type of story

It is one that shows that life isn't always a bed of roses. Scripture was presented in just the right light and was true to the spiritual guidance one finds in striving to live the Christian life. I look forward to reading (listening to...)more of her books.

Great story!

I really enjoy Cathy Marie Hale’s books and this one is no exception. I enjoyed the twist in the plot and the ending was perfect. So glad she has a continuation of the story in ‘Bittersweet’.

Western romance with mystery and humor

Loved the story and the characters. Ruthie is a very enjoyable protagonist. The faith of the O’Sullivans and Josh was inspirational. Narrator sometimes had dry mouth, but the emotional tone of each character was done well.

Christian Historical Romance

Wow! The evil discovered amazes me, yet the love, forgiveness and understanding are even more! I fell in love with the neighbors as well and ache for their pain. And those siblings that helped unload the wagon! I hope we see them in a future story!
The narration was excellent!
