Winner of the ALA Schneider Family Award, Wendy Mass has had her fiction for young readers honored with a Junior Library Guild Selection and a Book Sense Children's Pick. Every Soul a Star is the tale of an extraordinary occurrence related through three very different perspectives.

Unlike the thousands converging at Moon Shadow to witness a total solar eclipse, Ally calls the isolated campground home. Bree shields herself in a cloak of good looks and popularity, but there is something within her no one suspects. And Jack, overweight and socially inept, finds himself on the verge of a startling possibility.

My 6th grade son started reading this book for school and loved it. He recommended I read it with him. It was such a pleasure to read and we enjoyed discussing the changes the teens in the book were going through as well as the science of the eclipse.

I am an adult and I will probably listen to this book again. There is something of pure fun and enthusiasm in this book that adult books just don't get with all their stupid angst. It's about the universe and young adults finding themselves and friendship.

Yes I have listened to this book 3 times
