From the Vatican to the Swiss Alps, from Australia to the heartland of America, the two masterful operatives known as Saul and Drew are being drawn together to solve a violent riddle: Why have 10 old men been abducted from around the world?

When the agents, weary of their own covert wars, begin to investigate, they are pulled into a terrifying cycle of revenge that began in the heart of World War II - and is now forcing sons to pay for their fathers' darkest sins...

did an excellent job in combining the first book brotherhood of the rose with characters from the fraternity of the stone, creating a path for a future novel with both characters combined excellent combination and a masterpiece I thoroughly enjoyed.

Cross combination

Too many characters going back-and-forth. It was hard to keep track of until about halfway or two 3rds way through the book.

Built and described the characters very well, especially the four main ones.

The voice actors had very limited range when playing different characters. Women sound like men and everyone has the same accent, even characters from different countries. All characters had two ranges, monotone or excited and nothing in between. The written story is probably better.

Poor narration

Can’t say much about what appeared to be an interesting and exciting book since George Ralph is the worst reader I’ve run across and I’ve been listening to recorded books for more than 1/4 century. He really must find a new line of work. It’s shocking that the producers of this book allowed him to continue after listening to him read the first few pages - dreadful.

Stay away from Ralph

Like wading through a bog. Repetitive. The narrator has a limited range of expressions. Increasingly boring as the story progresses.
