the best of the best

You are reading the best epic fantasy series there is. period. It may take a while to get into it but you will. There are 2600 plus characters but don't get scared teenagers read this every day. You will know these peoples as "friends" and "enemies" and like your own family. Read by the dynamic duo of recitation kate reading and michael kramer... they pull it all together .. I switch genres just to listen to them... It [the series] is really one huge wonderful story broken into 14 too short books that nobody wants to see ended..I can not express how good these books are. I have started 16 different friends reading TWoT and they are all addicted. You think that maybe the books are enchanted some how???

Magical! And I love the readers! They make it alive when they read! They rule!

I love the readers

Great story, strong plot. All the female characters are a copy paste with varying allegiances though... Did Jordan have only indignant, authoritarian women in his life? Cause they are the worst characters in this whole series.

Another Fantastic Addition to a Great Series!

I love this series and have enjoyed every edition of this audiobook collection more than the last. Flawless save for some minor consistency issues with name pronunciation. Rereading the series and what a joy it is.

The continuation of a great yarn, but dated views

Jordan's 8th book continues his vast, sprawling & epic story. But the internal dialogues of the main characters often wear thin and awkward with grossly stereotyped gender-based sexism.

Still, if you ignore the flat, caricatured inner musings on the "differences" between how men & women think, the rolling grandeur and richness of Jordan's world and interwoven stories can carry you away.
