least favorite of the series

the lead female was exhausting to listen to. I can't stand a mix of stubborn and stupid.

Tara and Ramsey

Tara has been running from Declan for 10 years. She is working at a castle and Ramsey has came to observe her undercover. Aaron and Charon are there to keep watch too. Ramsey tries to get to know her but she does not trust easily. When she finds out they are Warriors she gets upset. Declan has found her and is on his way.
Ramsey finds out more about his family. He also lets all of the people at MacLeod castle know about his Druid powers.
There is some intense scenes in this book. There are also moments of sadness. This series has many ups and downs. Enough to keep a reader entertained for many hours.

Ramsey and Tara

This is a spin-off of the Dark Sword series and takes place in modern times. The Warriors and Druids are a part of the Dark World. Midnight’s Warrior is the fourth in this new series, all the characters from the Dark Sword are present. This series was read as a part of the Audible Escape package.

Tara is a druid on the run: from her family, a powerful Drough and the Warriors. She is captured/rescued by the Druid Warrior Ramsey. Both are powerful and highly unstable… and together they are extremely explosive.

Where does Midnight's Warrior rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Top 10. The narrator does great job in this book. Story line is good. I am sad it's the last one available on Audible at this time. I am itching to listen to her other series!

What did you like best about this story?

That there was some sad mixed in with the happy ending. Made it more of a full circle story. Plus the love scenes are always super hot!!

What does Arika Escalona bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She does a great job giving each character a unique sound. And with so many in this series that is not easy!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and I practically did!

Hurry and put out more of Donna Grant's books. I need more. I love the Scottish settings, the accents, the story lines, the good vs. evil...all of it!!

Midnights Warrior

Love these guys. This is a wonderful rollercoaster lots of twists and turns that will keep you guessing. Excellent

Shes ok but names need to be pronounced the same!!

Love the book excellent stories I've read most of her books. But with different readers they dont pronounce the names the same and it drives me nuts this reader calls him thilene instead of theeelan yes I spelled it wrong on purpose to show the correct name.

Another strong woman

We all knew Ramsey had secrets but wow. Great storyline bringing all the characters into it. Some people we hope will finally be ended others definitely not. Very interesting fight strategy at the lodge. Definitely a great listen thanks to author & narrator.

I’ve never read Donna Grant before. I thought this was the start of a series but when Tara was introduced to all these couples I figured I was out of the know. This story wasn’t very exciting. More than half the book was spent trying to get Tara’s trust.

I like most stories in this genre but this one wasn’t so good.
