Good read
Started strong but lost a bit of its luster in the end. Seemed to focus on one or two cadets. Would still recommend it. Interesting look at academy life the first year.

Hates the military
It seems clear the author hates the military. She completely misses the point of breaking down cadets to remove individuality to rebuild as strong teammates. My guess is this author has never been a part of anything that resembled service to others. This was extremely disappointing book.
