"Fantastic Narration and an awesome book!"
Where does A Storm of Swords (Part One) - Steel and Snow rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?By the time you read this review you would've listened to the previous books, so all i'm going to say is, it's more of the same great listen as all the other books.
What did you like best about this story?The great thing about this story is that just when you think you've got the usual plot figured out, BAM! you're thrown completely out of the water and have no idea what's going to happen.
Have you listened to any of Roy Dotrice’s other performances before? How does this one compare?Roy Dotrice's performance is flawless. Great narration and great character performance. i particularly picked up towards the end how the Lanister brother's accents were becoming more and more alike as the characters became similar in sympathies.

I prefer non-fiction as I like walking away from work with a bit of extra knowledge, but have recently found a beautiful escape in fiction titles which bring their own knowledge with them, I guess...

"I had to stop..."
I had to stop what I was doing to pick up my jaw, lest I stepped on it.
I think I have learned how this man writes and so brace myself for an unexpected turn, trying to predict where the book will go but for the life of me, I can not pick most of the plot line twists.
You can imagine how stoked I am when I come close to guessing it but on the whole, this series is highly recommended for those who wish to be taken on a roller coaster for over 200 hours.1 of 1 people found this review helpful -

"Hotdamn, Roy"
Roy Dotrice is a complete rockstar. His performance, which much have taken an obscene amount of time (He's done audiobooks for the whole series) is flawless, and the giant range of character voices is extremely impressive. An awesome audiobook that I absolutely powered through.

Who was your favorite character and why?Tirien witty character with a good helping of the good and bad in him and really cunning
What does Roy Dotrice bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?Excellent narration his uses of the different dialecs and ability to switch between them in conversation makes the story all the more authticland excitinga
