"In the realm of the Dark-Hunters, there is a code of honor that even immortal bad boys must follow: Harm no human. Drink no blood. Never fall in love. But every now and again, a Dark-Hunter thinks himself above the Code.
"That's when I'm summoned. Who am I? I'm the one thing the fearless fear. Step over the line, and it's my wrath you will face. Nothing can touch me. Nothing can sway me. I am relentless and unfeeling. Or so I thought, until I met a female Dark-Hunter who goes by the name of Danger - it's not just her name, it's how she lives her life. She doesn't trust me at all. And who could blame her? She alone knows that I'm here to be judge, jury, and most likely, executioner of her friends. Yet she is my key to saving some of them. Without her, they all will die.
"Dangereuse St. Richard is a deadly distraction. Something about her is reawakening a heart I thought was long dead. But in a race against evil, the only hope mankind has is that I do my duty. And how can I do my duty when it means that I will have to sacrifice the only woman I've ever loved?"
Love in vein: listen to another Dark-Hunter novel.

"Kenyon is the reigning queen of the vampire novel." (Publishers Weekly)
"One of my favorite Dark Hunter books yet!"
Yes. Fred Berman is excellent narrator. The story is a great read as well; funny, sad, sexy - all at the same time.
I loved the way Alexion tried to figure out why humans do what they do. The ending was great too - but I won't give anything in the review.
I could listen to him daily speak in the voice he uses for Alexion. After I finished it the first time, I immediately listened to it again. I could not get enough of Alexion.
It is a must read - it also gives you some very detailed back ground about Acheron.
Too many books, so little time. 5 stars=Great, 4 stars=Good, 3 stars=Okay, 2 stars= Sucked, 1 star=Awful.
"Great Audio."
I love all of Sherrilyn Kenyon's books, this one is not my favorite, but it is good all the same. I have a harder time with woman as dark hunters, that is just my own hang up though. Fav's are Dance with the Devil and Devil may Cry.
"This was alright, learned more about Acheron."
This was a tepid story at best, but the thing I really like about it was you found out more about Acheron's back story and that is what I'm dying to find out about. It was a good listen, nothing wrong with it, but I never bought the chemistry and once again there was the miracle save at the end and THAT is getting old. So the back story and finding more out about the demons was definetly worth the listen.
"Narrators"
I don't know
Please change narrators, I can't listen to one more book with this gentleman reading it. He has ONE accent, and the evil laugh is awful and the same for everyone. Carrington can do all the accents, she was wonderful.
Avid reader/listener of romance, action, thrillers, and spy novels.
"Sins of the Night"
Yes I would.
When Danger and Alexion are in the hotel room and he wakes her with a rose. It's sweet and tender, like both of them when they're with each other.
He used different accents for the different characters, so you knew who was talking and who they were talking to.
I laughed at certain parts but didn't cry. It was a great listen, as all of the Dark Hunter books are.
The only thing that would've made it better was to be read by Holter Graham. He's my absolute favorite.
