"Good series"
I enjoy listening to the series by Michael McGarrity. These books are a series so therefore, he doesn't necessarily tie everything together before one book ends. In other words, if you enjoy the book you keep coming back for more. I like the main character Kearney. I envision him as a John Wayne and I appreciate the way that McGarrity lets us have little glimpses into his past as well as he current situations. I would recommend these books to anyone who enjoys reading a good detective mystery.

"very poor reader"
If you could sum up The Big Gamble in three words, what would they be?The story was good the reader was terrible.
What did you like best about this story?I thought the story followed the sequence of the series and kept my interest throughout the book
What didn’t you like about Dick Hill’s performance?When he was just reading he did ok,but when he tried to do the various charadters he was terrible to listen to.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?I'm not going to make a film of this book so I never consided a tag line (what ever that is)

"Another book ruined by a bad reader"
McGarrity might be okay, but Dick Hill is such an annoying reader that I will never know. If he would just read the books without funny voices everything would be fine, but he makes all the characters sound like idiots and ruins the books with his sarcastic tone.
