Cole is successful beyond his wildest dreams. He can have any woman he wants, but there's only one he can't stop thinking about: his childhood sweetheart, Ren. He's never forgotten his first taste of innocent love and the desire that consumed them - or the pain he brought upon her.... Her long ago brush with submission awakened a longing in Ren that drove her to walk the darker edge of desire. She's become a beautiful woman at ease with her sexuality and unapologetic about her need for a dominant man.
When Cole finds her again, he's gutted that she belongs to another. Ren's current master agrees to give her to Cole for a short time, but then she must return to his keeping. And though Cole agrees to this bargain, he knows he will never be able to let Ren go again....

"Love Sweet Series-but pretty disappointed w/this"
That's a tough one. I will read it again, but not for a while - like the others in this series.
SPOILER OF SORTS:
Ren seemed spineless and Cole & Lucas went from strong men to simpering pacifists.
She always does a great job.
I would LOVE more in the Sweet Series...while all the immediate core characters have been matched up (except for 'Pops') Maya could bring in more characters-customers (like Lyrica), new people in town, etc. Please, please, please!
As with the others note this is adult themes and strong language.
I LOVE READING AND LISTENING TOO BOOK S, MY FAVE AUTHORS ARE MAYAN BANKS, LORELEI JAMES , AND I JUST STARTED READING VIVIAN AREND,
"TWO DOMS AND ONE LITTLE SUB."
TRADE ME RIGHT , BUT I THINK I NEED MORE THAN 3 WORDS TO GET MY POINT ACROSS IT IS A GOOD BOOK BUT THERE IS A LOT A TRADEING IN THIS BOOK.
THE LOVE SHARED BETWEEN ALL THE PEOPLE,
SHE IS A VERY GOOD READER AND GETS THE STORY OUT VERY WLL BUT THERE IS LITTLE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE VOICES
YES IT IS NEAR THE END BUT WRITING IT OUT WOULD GIVE TO MUCH AWAY.
"Definitely the Best of the Sweet Series!"
I read the book and have been looking forward to the Audio version and wasn't disappointed
Book #2 Sweet Persuasion because Cole, Lucas & Damon are my favorite characters and these were my favorite books of the series.
Yes, she is the same as her previous performances. She is an okay narrator, not great but not bad. At least they use the same narrator consistently.
SPOILER: When Lucas gives Ren to Cole
Make no mistake between my personality and my attitude. My personality is who I am, my attitude depends on who you are.........
"Confused........."
??????? Not really sure why this book was added to the series???? I did like Cole in the previous books; however, do not feel that he deserved his own. I miss the relationships and comrodery between all the characters/friends; this is what made the series.
There was no real depth to the story and really the book could have stood on its own; outside of the Sweet Series!
"Sweet nonsense"
Started strong and then got utterly stupid. This was not like the others in the series. This book had passion and a strong narrator. But the story was just stupid and the characters were whinny and it was hard to stay focused.
Cole said some of the sweetest things. Lucas I don't know what to think. The epilogue was totally laughable. Straight dominate men and one woman protected and loved forever definitely not worth the credit.
I can't blame it on the narrator she did a great job on what she has to work with.
"Another good book.."
I liked the audio version of this better.
It's another good boy in this series. It's alot like the other books but had a huge twist!
She shows alot of emotion in her reading.
"Surprising but beautiful"
The deep connections between the main characters.
When Ren is torn by misunderstanding of what the 2 most important men in her life want from her.
It's hard to say as you get to know each character you slowing start to understand
It's possible
"Great book!"
I really loved this book, wish there were more in the series! Maya - please write more!!!!
I've always been a avid reader so now I'm a avid listener. I prefer the paranormal genre but I do like to switch things up. It's boring if you don't have variety. Of course I do love the romance and the hotter the better. Also, you can't beat a good thriller filled with suspense and a ending you can't even guess at until the very end.
"Good start and good ending"
Yes, since I have listened too all the others in this series.
Let's just say most women would LOVE this.
I enjoyed the beginning, sorta bored in the middle, and enjoyed the ending. I have all the others in this series but waited to get this one due to the reviews. If you like the previous books in this series I think you'll like it. I admit Cole sparked my interest from the other scenes he was involved in from the previous books and his story fits into this series for me. It's not my favorite but I'm glad I finally got around to it.
