Abigail is more than ready for a change when she inherits a cottage from her beloved mentor, knitting guru Eliza Carpenter. Leaving the oppressive city for the greener pastures of a small California beach town, she intends to turn her cozy little windfall into a knitting shop and spend her days spinning, designing, and purling. But she’s not going to be welcomed with open arms by her new neighbor.
Eliza’s disgruntled nephew, the gorgeous Cade, now owns everything surrounding Abigail’s ramshackle new home, and he views this sexy city girl as an unwanted interloper.
But chemistry working overtime is drawing two very different people closer than they ever thought possible, and when the past that Abigail thought she’d left behind comes calling, she’ll have to somehow learn to trust her handsome adversary with much more than just her heart.

"How to Knit a Love Song: A Cypress Hollow Yarn, Bo"
I love the Characters & the knitting references.. & how the story is.
That He felt about her the same way.. for all that time.
the steamy Moments.
"Love story with a bit of an edge"
I was looking for lighthearted romance, and a bit of knitting thrown in wouldn't hurt either. Unfortunately, while the basic story was interesting, it was spoiled for me by rather explicit sex and violence. I realize that doesn't bother everyone, but it was harder to listen to than I expected.
"Loved it!"
Steamy romance, rural setting and fiber; what more could I girl want in a book?!
I was not expecting this book to get quite so hot and heavy, so I would like to warn you that there are certain chapters where children should not be present while you are listening! Otherwise, I love this book. Sure the story and characters were rather predictable, but every now and then you need that guilty pleasure!
I found this book highly enjoyable and quickly purchased the rest of the series once I completed this listening!

"How to Knit a Love Song"
How it combined knitting with a love story
Abigail. She was so kind and sweet. She loved what I love knitting and spinning.
Well read
Yes
Great book. Not one boring moment. Cade was not easily lovable and Abigail was very gracious through it all. The lovemaking scenes got a bit graphic and that would be my only complaint.
"A lovely romance with knitting!"
I loved this story that put romance and knitting together. It was fun to listen to while I was knitting and I enjoyed the characters and story. I especially liked the romance. Although it was obvious where it was going, I did enjoy how the story unfolded. I will definitely be reading the next in the series.
"Don't bother"
Poorly writen, totally predictable, no depth to characters. I stuck it out to the end hoping that it would get better but was disappointed.
