"Evanovich's series is as addictive as Fritos....Evanovich serves up consistently craveable goodies." (People)
"Chutzpah and sheer comic inventivenessin addition to good fun, the Evanovich/Plum books serve as a nice antidote to everything in pop fiction today." (The Washington Post)
"No less than her plotting, Evanovich's characterizations are models of screwball artistry. The intricate plot machinery of her comic capers is fueled by inventive twists." (The New York Times)
"very entertaining"
I thought this was the funniest of her "Plum" books. Not much from Morelli or Ranger, but lots of laughs from Lula, Diesel, Gramma Masur and a few very unlikely characters. This is a little less fantasy than her other "extra" Stephanie stories, and I really enjoyed it.

"Plum Lucky to discover Janet Evanovich books"
This was my second read in the Stepanie Plum series. Each one gets better and better. Janet Evanovich is a wonderful author and she could not have picked a better narrator than Lorelei King. Plum Lucky was delightful. It brought a smile to my face numerous times. Both author and narrator brought the characters to life. It was as if I was in a theatre watching a play. Great job ladies!!!!!

"Unlucky to me"
These books are becoming very formulaic and I've felt somewhat cheated by the very predictable response of the characters to each situation. It is still a fairly amusing book but not worth a recommendation from this reader.
"Not so great"
Evanovich seems to be slipping. Her early books were tremendously funny, but this just didnt cut it.
"Not So Lucky"
Not nearly as exciting or memorable as past Stephanie Plum novels. No sexual tension between her and Ranger or even her & Joe which is such a key ingredient in these fun stories.
In fact -they hardly appear in the tale.
Sorry janet - try harder next time. Give us what we really want.
"No Joe nor Ranger"
Stephanie pairs with a character from an early novel called Diesel in "Plum Lucky" and I found I really missed Joe and/or Ranger. A good read that amuses but I wouldn't rank it as one of my favourites. I'm not going to give away any of the plot but the antics are still as cute as ever. Written for St Patricks Day there may even be a leprechaun involved!
"Not So Lucky"
Funny
It fit all the books of Janet Evanovich
I think she really can give a feel of each character
Yes, it makes a bad day better because it make you laugh
"Disapointment to the Stephanie Plum Series"
I have loved the Stephanie Plums series, I have listen to the first 4 in the series when I purchased this one. I found the story and the naration disappointing.
I like fanasty but it does not fit with Stephanie Plum.
CJ Critt She has made the character's come alive and none the others narrator's compare.
disappointment! I need not feel that it was up to Janet Evanovich usual standards.
These are just my opinion.
"Plum Lucky"
I always enjoy Janet Evanovich's books. It is typical but has the humor and lightness of her style.
"Fun Listen"
I have enjoyed several of the books in this series by this author. I listen to them between other longer, heavier tracks when I require a "half hour sitcom." I feel strongly that the narration helps make this title so enjoyable, Lorelei King really is super with the characters voices.
