"Horrible lead character"
The story was horrible. The main character was weak, whiny and the most annoying poor pity me I've ever heard in my life. I kept praying she would get hit by a bus or something to move the story along. I'm to fat, nobody likes me. Poor me. Everyone hates me. This went on the ENTIRE book. Seriously never hated someone so much in my life.
Considering the wide range of characters in the entire series she had to portray, I'm rather impressed.
I'm sorry but there is no person in their right mind that would make this story into a film. It's a 2 hour pity party, barely worthy to have been made into a book. The main character was beyond annoying. I hated her with every fiber of my being.
Don't waste your time or credit with this story unless you want to hear someone drone on for 7 hours about how fat they are and everyone hates them and how ugly she is and whatever else she was going on about. I get being insecure but I don't want to hear about it to the most extreme ever for 7 + hours.
Enthusiastic listener =)
"Oh the Danvers. . ."
Very "cute" series, enjoyable and a good summer beach listen.
Allyson Ryan does a decent job at narration.
Definitely worth a purchase.

"Love, love, love!"
Just as good as the first two. Possibly better!!! I loved this series. One of my favorites.
"Great story but annoying female lead"
Yes, the book was good to listen to but there were moments that I just wanted to fast forward by.
Maybe. I have listened to some of her books before but the female lead, Beth, was very annoying. The way she acted was ridiculous. She was very disrespectful of her relationship with Nick. She is exactly the type of woman I wouldnt like. How can someone go out on dates while sleeping with the same man for 6 months.
I dont think I have one.
No follow up book needed. I saw that a Book 4 is coming out for Declan and Ella's story.
I wanted to punch Beth so many times. I almost stopped listening after a while because Beth is a horrible female lead unless you are trying to show how a female SHOULD NOT handle situations.
