Heather Reed thought she was making the right choice when she decided to raise her daughter, Angel, on her own. But three years later, Heather realizes she needs help. Her career as an actress is faltering, and Angel’s more than she can handle alone. It’s time to track down Angel’s father…only problem is, he doesn’t know Angel exists.
Heather’s search leads her to Whispering Wind, Wyoming. If Todd Winston is dismayed to see his old girlfriend show up in town, he’s shocked when he looks into the angelic eyes of the little girl who is clearly his daughter. Todd flatly refuses to open his life to Angel. Heather flatly refuses to leave town until she finds out why. Amazingly, they discover that through compromise and understanding lies the road straight to family.

I read so I can write
"Secret Series"
This great book is a follow up to a novel by the same author named 'After Tex' which is also a really excellent book.
This story is sweet and fun and brings in a bunch of good characters from the earlier mentioned book. All are well developed with interesting personalities and stories. All contribute to the main story line which centers around a precocious 3 year old named Angel and her parents.
Great story and great finish.
Wife to sometimes neglected husband (due to listening to audiobooks) and mother to adult children. I am a relatively recent avid reader/listener, only really starting to read for pleasure a few years ago but now am thoroughly addicted.
"This was a nice story, but only nice."
This was a nice listen but didn't really do it for me. I typically enjoy historical, paranormal romances so this was not my typical purchase. It was a sweet, okay story.
"I loved this book"
I enjoyed this book so much. The storyline was great although predictable at times. It seems sort of strange to have this big production studio in the country with these rich folks walking around. BUT it was still a great read.
Angel has to be my favorite character. She's this little innocent girl that everyone falls in love with and the narratior's voice matched this energeic little girl so well.
When the mother left Angel with her dad with no warning. It was great to hear him fall right into daddy mode like he's been parenting forever.
No extreme emotions. Such a delightful PG13 book.
"Pretty Good Story"
Yes, since the narrator was pretty good.
I guess to After Tex, the previous book, but I like After Tex better, I liked Todd better in After Tex, he was more compassionate. He was a jerk most of the book in Angel Mine.
Characters' personalities and verbal expressions.
both.
It was a pretty good read, it had it's good and bad points, but the ending was great!
"Great Read!"
I found myself totally engrossed with story line. hard to stop listening to on my sandisk. Narrator does a great job with all characters, I found myself laughing at times.
Angel, you couldnt help falling in love with the child.
Narrator did a great job with all characters and was easy to listen too.
