With The Look of Love, best-selling author Bella Andre introduces you to a fun and emotional contemporary romance series about the Sullivan family. Because when a Sullivan bad boy falls...he falls hard. And it's forever.
Chloe Peterson is having a bad night. A really bad night. The large bruise on her cheek can attest to that. And when her car skids off the side of a wet country road straight into a ditch, she's convinced even the gorgeous guy who rescues her in the middle of the rain storm must be too good to be true. Or is he?
As a successful photographer who frequently travels around the world, Chase Sullivan has his pick of beautiful women, and whenever he's home in San Francisco, one of his seven siblings is usually up for causing a little fun trouble. Chase thinks his life is great just as it is - until the night he finds Chloe and her totaled car on the side of the road in Napa Valley. Not only has he never met anyone so lovely, both inside and out, but he quickly realizes she has much bigger problems than her damaged car. Soon, he is willing to move mountains to love-and protect-her, but will she let him?
Chloe vows never to make the mistake of trusting a man again. Only, with every loving look Chase gives her - and every sinfully sweet caress - as the attraction between them sparks and sizzles, she can't help but wonder if she's met the only exception. And although Chase didn't realize his life was going to change forever in an instant, amazingly, he isn't the least bit interested in fighting that change. Instead, he's gearing up for a different fight altogether - for Chloe's heart.
(NOTE: Explicit language, very steamy sex scenes...and lots of emotion!)

"A Fairy Tale Book...."
If you're in the mood for a sweet... dream guy meets wounded girl...dream guy falls head over heals at first site,..this book is for you. It's that simple. It's one of those books that is pure fiction. Chase and his family are perfect. Everyone is gorgeous and oober successful. And Chase is a super caring guy.
Chloe has just gotten out of a ugly marriage. Stranded on the side of the road in her car, Chase picks her up and brings her to his brothers winery. The chemistry and romance between them is strong from the beginning. Chase is super wonderful and Chloe needs someone like him. The story goes on from there.
It's a seven hour audio, so things move along quite quickly. I was in the mood for a "calgon take me away" book. And The Look of Love didn't disappoint. Heck, isn't that why most of us read romance? The perect guy falls head over heals in love with you and saves your day. :) I usually read J.R. Ward, and authors like that. Deep, strong stories. But once in a while, it's nice to read something on the lighter side :)
I love books, it's my great escape.
"Great find! Romantic, Sweet with serious Heat!"
I just get so excited when I find a new author. Bella Andre is a wonderful new find. I am so hooked on this series now. It's Hot, Hot, Hot. Not to mention Chase is so sweet and caring. He has 5 other brothers and two sisters. I can't wait to meet all of them. (Smile) I see more books in the future. Did I say I have down loaded book two already. This had everything I like in a good romance novel. A good story line, great characters, sexual tension with some Heat and to top it off a great narrator.
"this makes ya wanna......"
I knight in shining armor is every or most girls dream. There is actually people like this just everyone is wondering where they are!
I don't know
Marcus
When Marcus held the baby for the lady to take pictures.
Worth the credit and more. It is nice to have a feel good story that doesn't spend half the book with bad attitudes or something bad happening. I like stories like this every once in awhile.

"A cottoncandy listen, very sweet but yummy"
I hadn't heard of this author before so I took a chance and I'm so glad I did. If you're in the mood for an easygoing light listen - handsome guy meets a damsel in distress then sets about rescuing her but falls in love with her instead then this is your kinda book.
Worth a credit? Yes it was entertaining and I'm off to listen to book 2.
I haven't "read" a book since 1998, just not interested....after the 50 Shades Trilogy, I have become an audio book addict! I am a very tough critic.
"Loved this book!"
I loved this so much that I had to continue reading the series. I can't wait for the 3rd book to come out so I can find out what happens! The narration was great and spot on!
"You will be hooked"
The characters in the book. The story line, makes you want to know more about them. Start with this one and you will be getting the rest of the series.
I love books! Audiobooks take stories to the next level. I'm obsessed with Audible and will try to rate all of my books. Happy Listening! ;)
"A total cheese fest..."
I got this book because of the many great reviews it had but I was so disappointed. Poorly developed romance. I believe in love at first sight but these two barely spoke (just had lots of sex) and in 48 hours were madly in love, saying I love you and considering marriage and babies. Oh please!!! And Chase was an unrealistic mAle. He spoke like a 13 year old boy with his first crush. One more time I would hear the word lovely in the story and I would burn my IPhone (not really but I imagined it). Way too cheesy!!!
Narrator: Eva Kaminsky is a reader not really a narrator. A narrator is supposed to add emotions and intensity to a story. But she just read the story aloud. Barely any difference in tone between characters and she sounded kind of young. She would be better as a YA narrator. The reader made a relatively short short drag like a never ending book. I had to speed up the voice so that I could finish it.
Be warned: only get this book if you like really cheesy, unrealistic but hot Harlequin type stories that are predictable from the beggining.
"A solid dependable writer! Doesn't disappoint."
This whole series takes you on a journey with laughter and love. It's a great pick me up!
"Could NOT even finish it!"
It took me 5 days to get this finished and I still had to stop it 10 minutes before it was done, I had enough. Badly written and boring.
"Pathetic"
No one I know.
No I only managed a couple of hours of this drivel.
She could not do much with the storyline.
Disappointment
Don't waste your credit unless you wish to listen to a story that is a total waste of your time. Sounds more like a fairy tale.
