This one has it all. I was a little luke warm about GF's books after listening to "One Night of Sin", but I'm so happy I decided to give this one a try. Loved the hoakey story, the mystery and mayhem, and most of all the narration! If you like Amanda Quick, Lisa Kleypass and Jane Feather, you will like this.

This tilte has been in my wishlist for a while and I was hesitant to purchase with one good and one not so good review. I LOVED IT! I will say it was a bit slow to start in the beginning and there is a ton of back story/other events going on through out the book but that added to the charm. The romance between the two characters is adorable. I despised the hero to start and thought there was NO way I would ever like him, but alas his true character is revealed. I realized how sweet and kind he truly is. There is more than one obstacle to overcome and a great villan in the whole book. The heroine is not the whiny sort that does STUPID things that irratates the hero. I loved that she was strong and honest but loyal to what was right and wrong from the start. The author does not make a mess of the budding romance from one stupid misunderstanding that lasts most of the book like some. The longest a misunderstanding lasts is about two chapters, but there is so much else going on you really don't notice. I did not find my mind wandering during this title like I have some. Just Excellent!!

Really enjoyed this end to the trilogy - it has a great mix of strong characters, an evil villain and a whirlpool of emotions between Dani and Rafael's romance all mounting to the climatic acts of selfless heroism that rewards them (and us) with a fairytale ending.

So, if you're looking for a 'Once upon a time.....' and 'They all lived happily ever after' type of book then this is it.

Worth a credit? Definately.

A little darker version of a Kiss at Midnight.

No, I have not, but I definitely will. I really enjoyed her narration.specially the voice of Rafe.

Seeing the ratings and reviews of this book, I expected more. But I was disappointed ! The story was OK but will not capture you! I got bored at multiple parts of the book! I fasted forward many times. The romance was not satisfying at all. The narrator's performance was flat compared to other historic romance narrators. You can not distinguish her male from female voices which left me confused many times. This book can pass time but is not memorable.

Yes I really got caught up in this story quite quickly, it's really easy to get into the story as the characters are so strong, interesting and distinct.

This story is about the prince who wants to prove himself as a future leader for his island and he soon get his chance but of course this come with conditions. He must marry soon. Enter our heroine, who lives a little on the dangerous side of life and her luck soon runs out. I loved the love story and how the characters grow together. This book is definitely worth listening to and the story develops quickly with enough angst without being too much.

It was well read and acted, and the story was compelling and kept moving.

For me the meeting of Daniella and Rafael at the hold up! I could have felt the sparks and it was obvious these two belonged together! The entire book is just a very pleasant, well put together book. I didn't want to put it down.

The part that stands out the most for me was when Daniella woke up and saw the Queen and Princess standing over her. And when the Queen went to the bed hugged them all and told Daniella that she "now has a Mother". Brought tears to my eyes!!!

She did a fabulous job narrating the characters. This is my first listening to her and would gladly listen to other books that she narrates.

Some parts I laughed, some I had to gasp and chuckle and yes some parts I was in tears!
