I read so I can write
"Disagree with previous reviews"
I have enjoyed this entire series so far and this book was no exception.
I didn't find the story strained, but in fact enjoyed the humor as well as the romance. I think the characters were strong and believable, and while the ending was predictable, that is true of almost all historical romances.
Justine Eyre is definitely one of the best narrators in this genre.
"Just did not like it--part of a series"
Yeah, it is a book in a nice series. I have liked the other books, I just absolutely could not stand this one. Didnt like it and never will. Not well written at all. Narrator was fine, series was good. Took me nearly 3 months to hear all of it, so normally it takes me hours to a few days to a couple of weeks to listen to a book. This one, just nope. It does everything a typical romance novel should, so I just really don't know what went wrong. LOL cant explain it. sorry. currently downloading the last of this series, so don't be afraid to hear the series.
Audible addicted love mystery, lately stuck on love story. Mother of 1 Labrador and 1 perfect man. Work way too hard, and so ready to be retired
