"Laugh out loud funny!"
Very light and very funny! Characters are fun and quirky. Definitely keeps you laughing out loud! The narrator has those southern accents down pat, and transitions easily between characters. Just downloaded her two other books.
"what a hoot!"
Great fun again - wish you had her other books on line. Made me laugh and not care who heard me.
"Couldn't resist"
When I came across this title, I couldn't resist giving it a try. It was a cute little story. I certainly wouldn't claim that it is anything "deep," but was an enjoyable romance.
"LOL - the perfect description when listening"
Ms. Price's reading is wonderful and she does a great job of using the same voice across all of the books in this series.
My fellow commuters, neighbors, and anyone else who have seen me in the car while listening now think I'm crazy. I laughed out loud repeatedly. The sheer unexpectedness of the dialogue and the detailed description of the scene added to the hilarity.
I keep haunting Audible to see if the last two books have been posted. PLEASE work on making that happen!
"Just okay"
I wasn't especially impressed with this book. It was ok and had some amusing parts, but overall it was JUST ok.
I've been an Audible addict since 2001. I like fantasy, intrigue, detective mysteries, love stories (not soft porn), and books with a Christian theme (and yes I know some don't think that fits with my love of fantasy). Since my husband retired I have less time to listen, but I always get through at least 4 books a month! I love to stock up during sales!!!
"easy listen"
This book is a bit trite and definitely fits the happily ever after (or sappily ever after) category. But if you like love stories this one is reasonably well written.
"A Fun Story"
This is a light fun read and a good romance. It had interesting charactors and excellent detail regarding the rodeo life and life in the west. I would recommend this for a listen and relax day.
"Ugh boy - no recommendation here"
I couldn't finish it. Too silly and predictable. In addition the southern accents were hokie and the narrator made the supposedly 'hot cowboys' sound like Dale Dribble from "King of the Hill". Only second audible book out of many I wasn't able to finish.
