Green: The Circle, Book 0: The Beginning and the End

If you read the trilogy you will love this book and how it all ties into them. And you understand how it all comes together. Beautifully written, extremely fast paced and at the end you just say Ahhh! Read it.. Read the others first then read this one.

If you've read the trilogy you know it ends with a ton of questions left unanswered. Even so, that ending would have been more than satisfactory had
the author not seen fit to write this, book zero for the Circle trilogy.

As in the other books, we follow the same major characters but this time, spend much more time in the future.

A great listen/read great story of loss, love, war and faith but, the end makes me think there will be another installment.

Another great book for Dekker in the series. I really hated to hear that this is the end of a great series. I just couldn't stop listening to it, when I got to the last CD I sat in my car for over an hr just to listen to how it would end. This is a must listen for all Dekker fans.

I barely made it through the book; if I had heard one more chant of "he tells the truth," I probably wouldn't have although earlier ones should have tipped the balance. Visually, the story is powerful, but the language and plot line are weak - melodramatic and stilted.

Green ends the The Circle Trilogy. It's jumps the reader from our earth to an earth some where in the future and back.

This is my first audiobook. I wasn't sure I would like being read to instead of reading myself but, as I travel, listening provides a wonderful respite, especially on board a jet or in a crowded airport. This reader is now a willing listener as well.

Thomas is and will likely always be my favorite character.

Gregory is a wonderful narrator. However, his French female accent could use some work - admittedly a stretch for any male narrator.

As an older adult male, it would have to be dinner with Dominique Raison.

Green is the fourth Dekker book I have read (in this case, listened to!). I truly hope there will be some degree of resolution at the end of this series, but I really doubt it.

The "Circle" books up until this one were good. That said, they are simply written with shallow character development. This book is no different. Major characters appear from nowhere with very little back story or development. This book tends to be confusing, and sadly unoriginal. The use of vampires is a little silly. I don't want to ruin the ending but if you've read S. King's Dark Tower Series you've seen it before. Overall this could have been a great story, but it just doesn't live up.

At times this book was very intense which is very Ted Dekker. Then on the flip side he confused my that is not the normal standard of Ted Dekker.

Although this book answered many questions it left more questions than answers. Like what happened to Janae, and what about Monique?

There was not too much interaction with Thomas and his family, in fact this book really didn't have too much of Thomas in it.

This book has a bit of vampires in it. I don't know if Ted was trying to profit off the whole Twilight theme. I just didn't get it.

I would have really given this book 2.5 stars because I thought it was deserving of better than two stars but not quite three stars.
