A dangerous journey. Shattered bonds. Undying passion.
Jacinda was supposed to bond with Cassian, the "prince" of their pride. But she resisted her fate long before she fell in love with Will—a human and, worse, a hunter. When she ran away with Will, it ended in disaster, with Cassian's sister, Miram, captured. Weighed down by guilt, Jacinda knows she must rescue her to set things right. Yet to do so she will have to venture deep into the heart of enemy territory.
The only way Jacinda can reach Miram is by posing as a prisoner herself, though once she assumes that disguise, things quickly spiral out of her control. As she learns more about her captors, she realizes that even if Will and Cassian can carry out their part of the plan, there's no guarantee they'll all make it out alive. But what Jacinda never could have foreseen is that escaping would be only the beginning.
Loyalties are tested and sacrifices made in the explosive conclusion to Sophie Jordan's Firelight trilogy.

"Therese Plummer's subtle narration disappears into the background as she becomes the caring, emotional Jacinda.... Plummer's steady performance draws listeners into the last episode of this paranormal tale of the draki. Listeners will be able to follow the threads of this story even if they missed the first two books." (AudioFile)
"GREAT SERIES - LOVE TO SEE IN MOVIE"
This series rate top 5
I love Plummer's performance. She gets right into the story line and performs superbly!
All emotions was felt throughout the story and Plummer did a great job bringing the story to life!
Tell us about yourself! I am the author of "Over the Moon" and "Falling Off the Planet." They are both YA Sci-fi fantasy romance.
"A Good End To The Story"
This was the best book in the trilogy. Jacinda got her act together and stopped being a vacillating, angst-ridden mess. The characters matured to some degree, and the loose ends were tied up in a tidy knot. I'm glad I persevered through the first two books.
For as much as I read and listen you would think by now that I would know how to spell lol. I read at least 5 books a week there are times I have gotten up to 10 in a week.
"What no Draki for Will?"
yes and I have a few currently reading/listening to it.
LOVED IT!
Loved this book,. Fast pace lots of action but I was really surprised that Will did not manifest somewhere in this book. I figured it would happen since he does have the drake blood and powers. Now I just need a spin off or a follow up book to lets me know what happen to Cassin.
Wife, mother of 3 and lover all of all books! I've really become interested in the audio books since I have such a long commute. It's a wonderful way to pass the time!
"Great ending to a great series"
Engaging, descriptive, heart-felt
I think the parts that were the most memorable were the relationships between the characters; and not just the main ones, Jacinda and Will. I loved the relationship between Tamra and Degan.
I really loved Jacinda, Therese Plummer's voice is just amazing...did she narrate Twilight as well? I'll have to research that. Second to Jacinda was Cassian.
All of it was moving; it's just written that way. All of the books in the series really pull at your heart and you can literally picture in your mind everything that is being described.
I highly recommend the series. I really enjoyed the writing and Therese Plummer was amazing as always. Her voice is just perfect for YA novels. When I first read Firelight, it reminded me in so many ways of Twilight - minus the vampires. So that was a big draw for me. The intensity of attraction between Jacinda and Will. Very much like Bella and Edward.
