How can a virgin seeking happily ever after with a hot pop star who has a penchant for threesomes win her fantasy man? Kimber Edgington desperately needs a plan to convince Jesse McCall, who's been her friend and secret crush since they spent a summer together as teenagers, that they are meant for each other. But all the tabloid stories about his sexual escapades make her feel oh so inadequate.
Determined to prove she's woman enough for Jesse, Kimber turns to bodyguard Deke Trenton for sexual education. Bold and brash, Deke warns Kimber that playing with him is playing with fire. But he can't bear to imagine the innocent beauty in someone else's arms. So Deke and his super sexy cousin, Luc, take Kimber under their wings and dangerously close to the edge of ecstasy. Though she's saved herself for Jesse, Kimber soon learns he's not the man adept at stroking her aching, endless need. That's Deke, and he can't resist when Kimber begs for more-and more.

"Hot sex scenes, a strong yet innocent heroine, two devastatingly sexy heroes and enough danger, intrigue and tragic pasts to keep the pages turning." (Romantic Times)
British and addicted to Audible! Hoping my review helps you spend or keep your credits!
"We got a hot one right here!"
No, it took me a while to get use to the narration.
I think it reminds me a little of Megan Hart's Tempted only this book seems....... lighter somehow.
Maybe now that I've gotten used to her voice.
Be careful what you wish for,or how about .......Cry baby or How to manage a Ménage
For me the start was not believable (Kimber's motive for looking up Deke) but I suppose thats what books are for but to escape reality and with the numerous hot scenes I did.
This was my first Shayla Black book mostly because I thought she only wrote paranormal books, guess I'll have to look out for more of her novels on audible.
"Severely lacking and obviously rushed"
Wicked ties wasn't the best novel I'd ever read but it was definitely better than this one. I'm thinking Shayla was in a rush to release this one or something because it's like they were written by two different people. The storyline was painful...truly. Kimber's voice made my skin crawl. The only reason this book is getting two stars is because of the sex scenes, even though most of them were interrupted with ridiculous drama.
The lack of a story.
I'm not a huge Lexi fan. She can only manage a few different voices and like I noted earlier, Kimber's really brought the book down.
Indifference.
I wouldn't waste my money on this one ladies. Wicked Ties had it's moments...this book does not in my opinion. Maybe the third in this series is better but I'll never know.

""The road to Ho is paved with good intentions""
Along the 50 shades line, a good read, enjoyable and certainly hot. I enjoyed book one of the series much more, but this was a good follow up with characters introduced in the first novel.
"To Menage or Not"
This is Book 2 in Shayla Black's Wicked Series and as with all Shayla Black books it's erotica all the way. The story is a bit far fetched "virgin wants to lean how to have a menage to please her pop-star friend"...meanwhile staying a virgin (not a spoiler since that happens in the first chapter).
There are a few twists and I must admit I wondered who she would end up with one or both of them...not so obvious there.
The usual...someone is after the girl part of the story ...was not really well developed and the secrets they held were built up so much that I couldn't help being disappointed when I was told what they were.
All that said...the story was good, the sex was great and would listen to it again (not something I say about all the books I hear).
I would recommend starting with Book 1 and listening your way through the series in order.
I used to be an avid reader of Romance novels. I usually preferred the Harlequin & Silhouette series''. I would read several books a day over the summer and several a week during school months. I took a long break as an adult but have gotten back to it this year and am very much enjoying my Audible experience. So far I still really like general Romance but have found a real unexpected joy in Supernatural & Paranormal Romances.
"Extremely hot"
This book was smoldering. There wasn't a ton of 'romance' to it. The main male character was a bit too tortured for me. But the sex was... woah. I liked the previous book from this series too and I wish that the rest were available here. I'd buy them all.
"Deek or Luc... How about Deek AND Luc!!! Yes!"
It was hot and entertaining! I prefer to bounce around between genres, this being one I like, not my favorite. So I cannot rank this book among my top favorite. However, it does not disappoint!!
"ummm. woah!"
let me start by saying i was shocked when i started reading this book, my public library offers the first book in the series for audio download. Based on this i didn't know this was erotica. When the story started i was blown away, the scenes were intense and the story over all was unexpected. i did enjoy the book. i would read more from this author.
"Super Hot!!"
Really great sex and a good story too. Better than the first in the series, though that was pretty good too.

"If I could give zero stars..."
...for a narrator's voice, folks, I would have. It was so nauseatingly syrupy and I just don't even know what-all, I do not have words. If you are looking for smoking hot sex, sure, it's in here...a lot. Maybe that was my whole problem, I was looking for a more plausible plot and interesting characters to hook me and keep me. Alas, for me, the whole premise of the book (girl looking to lose her V-Card, goes to hot commando-type guy to ask if he will do the job for her) was just ridiculous. The whole book seemed to be a vehicle contrived for getting in as much sex in as possible, in every way possible without something so insignificant as the plot interfering. There was just nothing here to keep me hooked. I couldn't even get all the way through part one. Maybe I just didn't read the summary well enough or something, but this one definitely was not for me.
"Too over the top"
No thank you. I like a dirty romace story, but this story was way over the top
No
The narrators voice was annoying
