The Mackay cousins - Natches, Rowdy, and Dawg - would do anything for family, so when former DHS agent Timothy Cranston drops off four sisters that Dawg never knew he had, there is no question: The cousins will protect and care for the girls, and their mother, because they’re family....
Five years later, Eve Mackay, the eldest sister, has graduated from college and settled in to life as a Mackay in Pulaski County, Kentucky. She works hard as a cocktail waitress and helps out at the bed-and-breakfast that Dawg bought for her mother. If she keeps herself busy enough, maybe she’ll be able to stay away from the man she promised Dawg she wouldn’t date, the man who has awakened her most ravenous fantasies….
He’s Brogan Campbell, a biker rumored to be a traitor and a thief. But he’s just playing a part; he came to Kentucky for a DHS mission that no one, except Cranston, is supposed to know about. Eve is the key to the whole operation, and his orders are to get her participation. But his need for Eve has nothing to do with stolen secrets and the safety of the country….
When Dawg took in Eve and her sisters, he warned them that if they ever lied, cheated, or betrayed the family, they risked losing everything. But desire and danger are locked in an inescapable embrace, and Eve has to make her choice between family or Brogan, for better or worse....

"Nauti, Nauti, Nauti but oh so nice, nice, nice too"
This is actually book 8 in LL's Nauti series but I don't know if that had any adverse effects on my listening pleasure as this is the first book in a spin-off new series.
It is just what you've come to expect from one of her books - a hot and heavy steamy romance that's all part of an interesting plot - undercover secret agent for Homeland Security really really tries to keep his hands off Eve but she's just too tempting. It's got a tense storyline and some great characters - including Brogan (main man) who is definitely your dominant yet brooding alpha type with a chip on his shoulder from the past.
Worth a credit? Ms Leigh puts the R in eRotic and if you know this and aren't put off, or already like her books, then it's clearly a YES.
"Nauti Hot...Lora Leigh Style"
I love all Lora Leigh books, she keeps the book's story line interesting, with a lot of hot sex ..for me Lora Leigh is an automatic download and keeper,
Make no mistake between my personality and my attitude. My personality is who I am, my attitude depends on who you are.........
"Love me some Lora Leigh men......"
Great/fun listen; steamy love scenes; laughing banter; and HOT men!!!
"WOW!!!!"
HOT~Captivating~Sweet
Had to go take a shower
This book started out alittle too fast. It was hard to keep up at first, but it soon became so exciting and hot I couldnt go to sleep and had HAD to finish... Going to keep this one in my library for a long long time.
"Fairly good plot for romance-narration lacking"
The romance/erotic story. The narration
Eve-smart & sexy
Almost anyone...her portrayal of women was fine-her male narration was monotone.
Like what?
Not Lora Leigh's best...worth a read on sale in my opinion.
"Not at all interesting."
An interesting story with relatable characters.
I suppose, in fairness to other listeners, I should begin by stating that this is not a stand alone novel, and I have not read nor listened to any of Ms. Leigh's other works. I found the characters and plot to be slow to develop and then one dimensional.
The narrator had difficulty differentiating between male characters while making the female characters whiny.
Natches.
If you've read all other works by this author, and just have to know about Dawg's sisters, you might like it. Otherwise- just pass it by.
"Great Book love this Author"
Must read I enjoy all of the Nauti books can't wait to see what happens next.
