A missing salami leads Mrs. Pollifax to a shocking discovery: a woman is hiding in her house. Even more unsettling is the revelation that ever since the young woman had a chance encounter with the heir to the throne of Ubangiba, she has been followed by deadly hit men.

"Fun change of plot for Mrs P novel"
Love to brain chill with a Mrs. P novel every now and then. Its like eating a cream puff, nothing really there, but enjoyable anyway. This is different than the usual formula for Mrs P books and I enjoyed the change up, made me want to read the next.
"Follow the Adventure from America to Africa"
The narration is always superb with the accents of each character adding to the richness of the listening experience.
I lliked the addition of the character Kadi to the storyline.
As always, Mrs. Pollifax!
Never too late to join the CIA
The adventures of Mrs. Pollifax follow the tried and true storyline recipe after the initial introduction in the first book. While always a terrific listening experience, it is the narration of Barbara Rosenblat's talented use of foreign accents which helps to identify each charactors individuality.
