"Good book, Glad I purchased it."
This was a good steamy, romantic book. I loved the storyline of this and that it had some good, hot and steamy love making scenes that kept you on the edge of your seat.

"Pleasantly surprised for this genre & price!!"
I wasn't expecting too much from this book considering the genre & price. I have to say that the story was surprisingly insightful, while at the same time providing some very hot scenes!!!
Perhaps because I could relate to the main character (married to the same man for many years, looking to "spice things up" between the sheets, etc) the story sounded pretty authentic to me.
The protagonist finds herself looking to push some new sexual boundaries, but she's afraid that her husband my react negatively and might reject her. As you might expect, he's more willing to be convinced to try new things than she realizes...
Just a quick, short, hot story that provides some insight into what seems to be a pretty common situation for couples these days: what happens when we come to have different expectations and the consequences of not being able to properly communicate them to our partner...Cheers & Happy reading!!!1 of 1 people found this review helpful -

"Some Things Should Stay Forbidden"
This book and story line had potential, but overall this book wasn’t for me. The voice wasn’t all that great either.

"Lots of fun - Sexy, Erotic, Exploration"
If you could sum up Forbidden Fantasies in three words, what would they be?Sexy, Erotic & Exploration
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?It is between a married couple and the exploration of sex [into kinky, erotic] is between a married couple.
What does Lola Holiday bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?She is a great narrator...I don't read a lot - love listening and narration can make or break a book.
Any additional comments?It's a short, mildly erotic story. Adult themes...not for 'vanilla' romance readers.

I used to be an avid reader of Romance novels. I usually preferred the Harlequin & Silhouette series''. I would read several books a day over the summer and several a week during school months. I took a long break as an adult but have gotten back to it this year and am very much enjoying my Audible experience. So far I still really like general Romance but have found a real unexpected joy in Supernatural & Paranormal Romances.

"OK, story... So-so narration"
The story here was decent. It was nice to read about 2 married people reconnecting with each other and discovering their private fantasies after so long. That's a unique take in a world of books that mostly deals with single people getting together for the first time.

"I loved this one!"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?Yes! For all of us "married folk" who wish we had the courage to rekindle the excitement in our marriage but fear rejection...this one really hits home.
What did you like best about this story?I loved the characters...honest and real and totally likeable.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?A story of love and lust rekindled.
Any additional comments?I have listened to this book several times. It's a keeper!

"Fun little read"
What did you love best about Forbidden Fantasies?The situation seemed like one that anybody could be in.
What aspect of Lola Holiday’s performance would you have changed?She made Alex sound like a 70-year-old hillbilly grandma with a smoking habit. Other than that she was okay.
