Blood Lure

Have enjoyed Nevada Barr for years. Really liked the flow of this book. Great story.
Recommend to anyone.

the further you got in to it. kind of slow at start but mystry and dry jokes and over all got alot better as book progressed.

I thoroughly enjoyed the author's writing and prose. The narrator is quite talented and can effectively create a number of different voices, although I do have to agree with the other reviewers about the swallowing sounds that the narrator imparts that can be a bit distracting at times. 95% of the book is a superb detective story, but unfortunately, the ending is somewhat disappointing as Anna really doesn't solve the crime as much as she stumbles into the solution. But it's a story worth listening to and I intend on listening to some of the author's other works.

Couldn't stop listening. This is my 3rd Navada Barr in the Anna Pigeon series, I will listen to them all. Barbara Rosenblatt brings the characters to life but the extraneous noises, such as swallowing, should be eliminated. I highly recommend this book.

I very much enjoyed this book and am delighted to discover the Anna Pigeon mysteries. I plan on listening to them all. I think the reader is very good with her different character voices, but there must be some way that the little noises such as swallowing can be eliminated. They are distracting.

I have enjoyed all of Nevada Barr's books. Anna Pigeon is a great character and It is nice to visit the National Park's with her.
