Born to read
"classic Susan Phillips"
I really enjoy Susan Phillips books. this is a classic one. A little over the top with the "arranged" marriage but the circus theme is very funny. the people developed by the author are just great
check it out. if you love Phillips you will love this book
"Would recommend it!"
A very light read. SEP has once again created characters that you will come to know and love. I didn't think I was going to like this book, but I couldn't stop listening to it. This story wasn't quite as believable as some of her others; however, it is a nice armchair vacation. Anna Field's reading of SEP brings these characters to life in her usual outstanding mode of accents and inflections. I thoroughly enjoy SEP's wit, sass, and sense of humor.
I've become a late in life lover of reading. For years there was nothing I really enjoyed except for movies. My daughter got me to read Twilight and there the love affair begins. Movies of books rarely compare to the experience of reading. Just can't get enough. Who'da thought!
"Who knew the circus had so much romance!"
Its among my favorites. Though I have many, this was a little differentand I love SEP. She writes funny like no author I've listened to before.SEP blends emotions beautifully and has me laughing out loud.
Not sure. I don't tend to like circus', however, I have a love foranimals.
Anna Fields and SEP are a love match! Anna Fields has the best
expressions while narrating SEP's stories and SEP's stories bring out the
best in AF.
Arranged marriages anyone?
It took me a while to decide on SEP's book about the circus becauseI really don't like the circus, but I'm so glad I did. Like an Angel is oneof my favorite SEP books now. Though I like them all.
"Laugh, cry and sigh all in one night!"
I have listened to this great story serveral times. This will keep you up all night to finish the
story.
Daisy sitting between Sinjin's paws.
I have all of ms Fields performances of S.E.P.books. The late ms Fields is so badly missed. Her rich voice was a gift to Ms Phillips books.
2 moments, Daisy working in the Elephant truck and when Alex tells Daisy of his wealth.
this book is a great listen
"Two of the best"
No one reads better than Anna Fields and SEP always delivers an entertaining story and loveable characters. I've read this book before and was totally entertained listening to it this time.
"FANTASTIC!"
This book was fantastic!!! I did not want to leave my car to stop listening to it, definatley recommend it! I am searching now for another of her books to listen to!
"Always Enjoyable"
For fun, light and truly romantic frivolity, I always turn to SEP. In Kiss an Angel, she brings to life the sights and sounds of the every day circus and weaves a heartwarming love story throughout the story. Like I said, always enjoyable!
"SEP Rocks!"
This is obviously one of SEP's earlier works, but it is everything you love about her books: charming, funny, well-developed and HOT! If you are a SEP fan, you will SO not be disappointed with this book! Thanks, Audible, for adding it to your library!
"Another winner from SEP"
I love every book that this author writes and the narrator is the very best I have ever heard. Great story with wonderful characters fully developed. Had me laughing out loud at times. Wonderful ending as usual.
"Most unbelievable story."
This book portrays women in the subservient role of slave and master. A silly, unbelievable plot which portrays this woman as being subservient and having no self esteem or belief in herself otherwise she would never have put up with this male chauvinist in her mate or her father. A real waste of time and total lack of respect for women.
