“First Lady of the West” Linda Lael Miller has stormed to the top of the New York Times best-sellers list with novels her many fans can’t get enough of.
In Big Sky Mountain, rough-and-tumble cowboy Hutch Carmody is not exactly the type to come home for family dinner. Or is he? After making peace with his half-brother and inheriting half of Whisper Creek Ranch, Hutch sets his sights on kindhearted divorcée Kendra Shepherd. But even with his newfound wealth and rugged good looks, Hutch finds that Kendra is frustratingly immune to his charms.

I read so I can write
"Better than the first one"
This book is the second in a series and it is better than the first. Where the first lacked realism and was a little heavy on the drama side, this one drops back into the normal mode of a western romance. Jack Garrett narrates it well.
"A great listen!"
I am an avid fan of Linda Lael Miller's books and this listen was no exception. Great character and plot development all in an engaging story with just the right pace.

Loved this book and the other Big Sky books!
"Wonderful Author"
Found that I seem to only write reviews for books I don't like, so let me say I like this new series from Linda Lael Miller. I like her a lot as an author and I'm looking forward to Book 3 in series. I may have enjoyed Big Sky Country (book 1 in series) even more than this one.
