"Like it!!"
Very good read. Just enough plot and steam. I recently canceled my membership because of the lack of African American romance. No offense to those that like the hard novels (cursing every other word), but that is not me. I have no problem with reality, but I live it daily and I like a little fantasy. Now I see they are adding additonal titles by Brenda, Rochelle alers, and Beverly Jenkins. I may have to rejoin.

"Sexy and Strong"
yes, I love Brenda Jackson's work. I love the charcters and how the sex scene were hot! When I listened to this book, I just could not put it down until it was completed.
Well I am bit bias but I would compare this book to Rochelle Alers "Because of you" both the books kept the reader wanting more. The main characters in each book were strong, self assured and HOT! They complimented each of the female characters and it was not at all "sappy"
I like Madison Vaughn's performance. I would love sometimes if they would she could read with another male. Like in the Session by M. Rose and narrated by Natalie Ross, Phil Gigante. I would like to see audibles start incoporating this style. It really brings the reader in. But all in all Madison V does a great JOB!
Yes it was. I love Brenda Jackson. I would like to see more of her books and other African American romance/erotic author works on audibles. It really draws you in especially after reading the book first.
"Wonderful"
The best love story i have read in a long time. I like that the characters are strong and flawed! She is a good writer, but the narrators are kind of boring. Brenda get a man to read the men's part. The woman are not really able to capture the essence of the men and Quincy is too dry! She lacks emotions when she reads.
"Hot and Steamy, with a Discovery of True Love"
Audible books have given me a new appreciation for reading books for myself. In lieu of that discovery of appreciation I have to say Brenda Jackson always delivers...... this book was filled with a great story line that allowed the readers to understand why the characters felt like love was not something that they felt were apart of their lives, but through each other they discovered what love is, and how it could heal and protect one another. I can identify with each character in some ways. This book makes me think of me and my fiance, and how in the getting to know each other beginning stages laid the ground work for learning to trust, and know that what I shared with him was important to keep between him and I.....the characters in this book did the same...... they learned of each others' past hurts, and because of the rough edges they endured in their lives is what put them on common ground...leveled ground.
This book is a full of steamy hot passionate moments and full of tender moments shared (physically and emotionally).
This is a great read I'm not saying this because I'm an avid reader and loyal fan of B. Jackson....I'm saying this because she truly writes in a way that captures two strong people who always find love in the end who goes through a little Storm and Dare to be the one who gets rejected.... but through it love conquers all.
If you want to read about the love, enduring times, two becoming one, and happy endings then you should truly embrace Brenda Jackson's books.
