The Answer: Grow Any Business, Achieve Financial Freedom, and Live an Extraordinary Life

I read "the Secret", and to be honest- I didn't get it.
For that reason, I didn't expect much of "the Answer". After reading this book, "The Answer" was all I was looking for, and really needed.

The book is clearly in two parts from two authors. It goes a little into each authors background and footnotes, and clearly offers direction to their joint venture company which is dedicated to helping business owners with the concepts in this very book. Warning to those without businesses, the second half is designed for business owners.

The first half goes from research data about the brain to the realm of quantum physics. (Don't worry- there are no math problems) It was pretty easy to understand. I have to tell you, it made an awful lot of sense. It answered why people meditate, the benefits of positve thought, and the destruction of negative thoughts. More importantly- it is clear to the reader.

I would best describe it as an operating manual for the brain.

So once you are all charged up with your daily mental excercises, the book rewinds and starts talking about building successful businesses. The back half of the book starts with the footnotes of the second author and some of his accomplishments. Then it whips through all the keys models he used on everyone of his successful businesses. I have been in marketing for years and the concepts are not new, but they are solid.

I think the first half of this book would be great for everyone. It improves your mind, alters perception, and is generally a good read. The second half is for those people who can truly believe they can do great things and chart a course to their success. It's a study book, not a read. You'll want to keep it on your shelf for future reference.

This is a great book that will guide you on excatly what to do. It doesn't give you the fluff, it gives you an action plan to set up and follow. I listen to this every week and I think I've listen to the whole book about 7 times. It has changed the way that I look at things and helps me keep positive and focused on my goals and vision.

The first 5 chapters are a little too dry for me as it goes a lot into theroy. The rest of the chapters are excellent information.

Enjoy it, listen to it, follow it, and it will change your life!

Great book, wonderful insights and practical advise for moving your life forward. John and Murray add in the science to back up the fluff of "think positive."

Whether you own a business or involved in running a business, You Must Listen To This Book!

In order to understand how to achieve great results, you need to know how your mind works and this book provides wonderful insights into this subject. The authors also provides excellent exercises on goal setting and focusing your purpose. When you consider the past lives of both authors and the success and wealth they have generated, you can't help but take stock in the advice and knowledge they share with the listener. John Assaraf especially does a great job at narrating and is very inspiring. I am on my 3rd listen, there is so much information that you need to listen to it several times which is ok because it's an absolute pleasure to listen to it. Although it's business based, I suggest even those without businesses buy it. Once you become aware of your true potential you will want to start a business

The "Answer" was an easy to listen to and easy to understand. The pricipals within its pages can create and sustain remarkable changes within your life. I found that it blended the "law of attraction" with taking action on your opportunities in such away that many of the changes that I was wanting to make in my life became second nature before they happened. Therefore, when they did accure I was not only expecting them but was ready and willing to allow them into my life. The lessons and the guidelines are truely awesome.

If you have rad the Secret or any other related book, this book is almost the same. If someone has watched the movie or a documentary about the secret, there is no need to purchase this book.

Even thought the book promise to give practical samples, I have heard the same samples in different sources.

I am sure a lot of Secret fans will just love this book. It didn't do it for me and didn't inspire me. Not bad, will appeal to many folks, but not my bag and I am burnt out on the topic, and nothing really new in here. I thought The Secret was overated too. Just me :)

Yes. Murray Smith - but his part was just minutes long. Too bad.

A lot more Smith, a lot less Assaraf

Disappointment in that the same theme was beaten like a dead horse -- over and over and over again. Really not the insight I was looking for.... Smith's part was good but only minutes long - what a shame.

Yes, save your money. Just simply not that good.....

I am about to start this book for the 3rd time since I purchased it 2 weeks ago. This book is great, even if their sometimes lacks a bit of emotion on the part of the authors. The book doesn't just have theory, but exact instructions and answers on using visualization, affirmations and zeroing in on the ideal customer. Very concise as well, not too much fluff. I enjoy the stories from the authors as they illustrate how they applied the principles. Waiting for the physical copy to get here!

Very interesting info on the power of the subscious brain. How to re-program your subconscious brain. Great audiobook for achieving success in business or in life.
