Jin Rayne is still growing into his frightening new powers as a nekhene cat and his place as reah of Logan Church’s tribe when he learns that a sepat, an honor challenge, has been called. Logan, who has never wanted to do anything but lead his small-town tribe, must travel around the world to Mongolia and fight to become the most powerful leader in the werepanther world.
Logan won’t be the only one making the journey. As his mate, Jin must fight with him to honor his commitment to Logan, his culture, and his tribe. But the trial is long, involving a prolonged separation between the two men, and Logan’s humanity is at stake. In order to make it through the nightmarish sepat, Jin and Logan must accept their fates, trust each other, and honor the vows between them no matter the cost.

"Better than the Narration of Trusted Bond but not"
Yes it was but not because of the narration but because of the story.
Trusted Bond that Honored Vow's narration was only slightly better but still have the same problems of not much diversity in the voices, so it was easy to mix up who was saying what and what was being narrated if you haven't read the book. Also in every single chapter start the name of the book was mentioned like there was a chance of the listener ever forgetting it so it bear repeating. The thing that made it better than Trusted Bond's narration was the fact that we didn't had to hurry along to follow what was going on, this narration was better paced.
One of the bad things was the name Yusuke -and who knows what other name- was read wrongly. It's Yu-su-ke not Yu-suk! That almost had me going back to the book and checking to see if I remember correctly that the tribe of Reshep was from Japan and not another country!
The other book I will compare it too is Change of Heart that Sean Crisden's still remains the best of all.
Really the narrator did detract from the book. His narration was just not rich enough. Not much feeling or diversity in the voices, as mentioned before, can lead to confusion to someone that isn't familiar with the book.
And the fact that the terminology and names were read wrongly isn't warming up to it.
Honowred Vow has a follow up book, Crucible of Fate and I'd love to see that one being turned to audiobook, even though Trusted Bond's and Honored Vow's narrations weren't as good as Change of Heart's was.
If Crucible of Fate is turned to audiobook can it be narrated by Sean Crisden?
I really enjoy the world of books! Narration just add layers to that world... don't u think? :)
"NICE! Great Ending"
WOW the ending totally was unexpected. I loved it. I am so happy how things turned out. I was actually worried for Logan and Jin. I was scared they would have to leave thier home, but I just love how it all played out in the end. Super Happy. The only negative I have is the switch of roles right at the end. Ummmm.... Why was that needed. I don't think that was needed and Logan is just not bottom... I don't care what the reasons where... Logan is not a bottom in no universe!
Great book and great ending. I actually hope just one more book comes out... Yari and Duncan story... Super Cute don't cha think.
I'm 45 yrs old. I love reading/listening to books and work at a University library, unfortunately we don't read all day.
"Honored vows"
Yes! I already have listened and read Honored Vow multiple times because the story is wonderful.
I always adore Jin and Logan, they are such a great pairing and they are always fun and exciting to read about.
Domin Thorne is getting better with each story and I hope audible will have the next book 'Crucible..." on audio soon, I have already read the book half a dozen times.
Crane is such a sweetheart and I love him.
I haven't a favourite performance, Jeff does an excellent job.
When Logan calls to Crane in Cranes' room, after Jin makes him shift back to human, that scene with Logan and Crane is so touching. The bond between the Semel and his people is shown in such a simple and moving way in this scene.
Just hope Mary Calmes and Audible continue to work together and create more of the Change of Heart series.
"Please don't end!"
Yes I would it was a good listen
..............
Logan
Some parts made me laugh but nothing extreme....
"LOVED IT!!!!!!!!"
Thanks for a very wonderful series. I love every book in it. Just wondering if "Crucible of Fate" will be on audible soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU MARY CALMES
"I love this series, horrible robotic narrator."
No, the narration is monotone, no character to voices, painful.
Love the series and the imaginative made up world of Calmes' shifters.
No. I'll stay away from this narrator from now on.
Always to me it's Jin.
Too bad they switched narrators. Sean Crisden was my favorite.
