Something wicked this way comes.…
Suddenly, being bitten by a werewolf is the least of Joanne Walker's problems.
Her personal life in turmoil, her job as a cop over, she's been called to Ireland by the magic within her. And though Joanne's skills have grown by leaps and bounds, Ireland's magic is old and very powerful.…
In fact, this is a case of unfinished business. Because the woman Joanne has come to Ireland to rescue is the woman who sacrificed everything for Joanne - the woman who died a year ago. Now, through a slip in time, she's in thrall to a dark power and Joanne must battle darkness, time, and the gods themselves to save her.

"Fast paced exciting ride through Irish Mythology!"
I do consider this audio better then print for this book. The whole series stands out more for me since I traded in my print for the audio.
I have been happily married for 17 years, I have 3 children (12, 14, & 16), and 2 dogs. I am currently working on a 2nd degree. Life is chaotic and stressful, but I wouldn't change it. I am blessed and enjoying my life.
"This book was sooooo worth the 2 credits!"
This was a wonderful story told with great skill. I have loved the heroine throughout all the previous books and especially this one. ???Raven Calls??? is a great story that was written with incredible intensity and depth. It???s a totally rich experience. I hated for it to end!
I am an artist that loves to read! I have a great husband and we adopted my sister And my brother, they are both adults now! We have a cocker spaniel Lilly and a Norwegian forest cat Inanna!
"Okay But Not Great!"
I love the way she does the different voices and brings sass to the charters.
I Love the series but it seems like she is dragging it out and I feel that most of the story is filler.
"Holy Crap, so much is going on in this book"
I actually almost did listen to this book in one sitting, I went for a quick morning walk and 8 miles later, I was in downtown Denver. (The walk back was terrible!) There is so much that happens in this book I just got sucked in. I was really glad I went back and skimmed through the other books in the series before listening to this one though, otherwise I would have been a little lost! This is one I will definitely have to listen to again to pick up everything that happened.
"Just fun!"
I have enjoyed this series from the beginning and CE Murphy doesn't disappoint with the most recent installment. I really appreciate how Jo has changed and matured from book to book. Unlike so many of the heroines in this genre, Jo fumbles around, srcews up, faces the consequences of her decisions and learns from them. Very refreshing!
Gabra Zackman does a great job conveying the humor and sarcasm inherent in the dialog.
Looking forward to seeing where this series goes from here.

"Series is growing"
I like the way this book pulls separate strands from the others together. The interaction between Jo and her mother are strong and revealing.
She has gotten better. I like her voices.
"A grand listen"
One of the best stories in urban fantasy today.
A heroine who is smart, stubborn but capable of learning. Willing to standup for her beliefs.
Zackman's reading brings out nuances that might be easily missed otherwise
A heroine with a sense of humor and capable of examining her motives, quite unusual.
"Not the first book in the series"
I should have started with the first book in the series. I am only half way through this and will come back to it. However, I think it would have made more sense if I had started at the beginning.
Me? ....... Capable of many moods, and enjoying a vast range of literature. Incapable of uploading a picture and realized none of the Avatars are ......appropriate. That pretty much "tells" it all.
"RAVEN CALLS"
Magic, fantasy and humor.
Very good writing and imagination, but I have tired of werewolves.
I liked the fact that she was a true, blue American with credit card in hand.
I found her older male sidekick to be a nice change. He was my favorite character.
Good book and good performance. Magic at its best.
