"Altogether Enjoyable"
A great way to read a book. I am looking forward to the next in the series.
EOD wife and loving mother!!!
"Disappointed! With a horrible cliffhanger ending!"
If there was more common sense and if it was more believable! Several things don't add up. 1. Why couldn't the main land send more supplies for the hospital if they were sending food? 2. If the gang was hoarding all the supplies what where they doing with them? 3. In the beginning I would think people would've been on the phone and Internet spreading the news of what was going on. 4. How was the hospital always busy even though the sick died so quickly? 5. If people really wanted to get away, why not use the boats prior to them being damaged? Anyway, the list goes on and on. The story didn't make a lot of sense for an apocalyptic novel. The part that really made me dislike the book was when the main character was going to commit suicide. Come on! She was one of the few survivors and she was going to through it away! Most people would be grateful. It wouldve been better If her dad wasnt killed in the manor he was. The ending was pretty bad too.
Dead of Night by Johnathan Maberry.
Definitely! She did a great job! If it was for the good narration I would've stopped listening.
I enjoye the concept of a viral breakout on an island where it could be contained easier. I also like that the town didn't go into complete meltdown instantly like in many apocalyptic novels.
I really wanted to like this book. I'm not only disappointed in the story throughout, but also the ending. I don't mind cliffhanger endings, but this book just stopped out of nowhere. There was no ending. It was quite anticlimactic.
