    "Great book !!!"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, definitely. This book identifies the root of where the problem begins and where the correction needs to take place first to change the outcomes.

Have you listened to any of Pat Lentz’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    I have not.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    no

    Any additional comments?

Possibly one of Joyce Meyer's best work !!!

"This is the book that EVERYBODY needs to read!"

I've just finished listening to this audio book and am getting ready to read it again, as it is so packed with good information and advice, in a biblical perspective, that I want to make sure that my mind remembers every bit of it. I admire Joyce Meyer so much, for her strong beliefs, her positive attitude which she teaches us in this book and her candor in accepting and admitting that she had made certain mistakes in her own life and how she changed those things and improved her life as she grew in the Lord. She teaches us how to actually change our way of thinking by explaining exactly how the mind actually works and reacts to certain thoughts and actions... and God's words tie it all together! Although the narrator sounded good and expressed the words the way that Joyce Meyer would, I still would have enjoyed listening to Joyce, herself. I do hope that you buy this book and buy it for friends and family, as I have, since the information and the way that it is presented would be a valuable recourse for anyone and everyone.

    "A Thoughtful Provoking Book"
If you could sum up The Battlefield of the Mind in three words, what would they be?

A book that makes you look at yourself and how you have been living your life. It is done in a way that you don't consider it criticism. I have learned so much and have started to use it in my life. I have seen a difference in my situations. All by the way I handle them and giving everything to the Lord our Savior.

What does Pat Lentz bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She brought the book alive. She kept me wanting to listen to more even though my ride in to work was finished, I would catch myself in my car in the parking lot not wanting to get out because I wanted to finish a chapter or start a new one. LOL

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laugh an many of Joyce's moments, because I shared many of them in my life.

    Any additional comments?

The is by far the best book I have read in a long time. It just was the inspiration I needed.

    "Good Book"
What made the experience of listening to The Battlefield of the Mind the most enjoyable?

This book covers a topic that is not always easy to listen to, because of the subject matter, but it is a book that will cause you to take a serious look at yourself and your thought life. In some instances, I tried to find a point of disagreement, but when I seriously thought about what the author was saying, I just couldn't disagree.

Joyce Meyer does a good job of calling Christians into accountability as it relates to our thought lives. I appreciate her honesty and transparency as she relates how she, too, has struggled in her own Battlefield of the Mind. The narrator did a good job of conveying the message. I will be getting the hardcopy of the book along with the workbook so that I can take notes on it and "accidentally" leave it laying around the house for others to pick up. Very powerful and effective.

    "Narrator not so great!!"
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I am disappointed by this audio book. Would have been a lot better with Joyce Meyer as the narrator.
