"Classic Romance!"
This falls right in with my favorites! The humor and sexual tension compliments the characters and just leaves you with a smile on your face.
Seduction by Design by Sandra Brown read by Jenna Stern
Both main characters are great, but Ms Plummer did such an excellent job with inflections, I loved her voice changes from the southern accent of the cook, to the seductive tones of Taylor Reynolds.
"How disappointing! What a waste of money and time!"
All they did was argue!!! Shallow plot, story was hard to follow because I kept waiting for them to get to a valid point. The author could have done so much more with this book and made it into something that would have actually been worth reading!
No...just perhaps this author.
No
OMG...I'm sorry - the entire thing!!
What a waste of time. :(
I work in the field of scientific research by day, and I write the rest of the time. My nonfiction historical articles appear in numerous magazines. I am presently working on a contemporary and a paranormal romance.
"A little too chauvinistic for my tastes"
Yes, in that I read different authors to learn to write better. No, because I think this author's male character was stuck in an earlier era, at odds with a contemporary plot. Men who treat the girl like that now don't get the girl.
Probably not for awhile. Many of her books are similar.
This narrator, though pleasant, sometimes over-inflects.
A less obnoxious male protagonist.
