"Just get it over with already"
I listened to the first book in the series and thought "It's no Vampire Academy or Twilight" but it's worth a listen.
I made it onto the second book and was totally frustrated with the way it ended and knew I had to read the third to see any resolution.
Now however, I wish I had never read or listened to any of them. Such a waste of time.
It's like Noel is prolonging our agoney for more book sales by adding new characters and conflicts for the main characters.
Really, do we need new conflict and problems when you have no resolution to the first two books?
The series has reached the point where you will no doubt be irritated and upset by the end of the series. She has only left the possibility of a very terrible ending. You know where everything is summed up in five short minutes after you listened for 50 hours. Just get it over with already and stop wasting our time.
"Disappointing"
I found this book sooo frustrating, it was a continuation from book two it yet still didn't wrap it up. It interduced so many new threads into the story and didn't answer even one of them by the end which ended very abruptly. Loved the first and second book but was very disappointed with this book. Praying the 4th book is better or Im done with this series.
"Disappointed"
It was so long and drawn out. Tired of the lead character always getting it wrong. I mean we know life isn't perfect but within the whole story NOTHING ever went right, except in book one. Hope in the next 2 books that the book will speed up and have some happiness within. Hope that Ever finally gets something right.
"Enjoyed it and waiting for the next book..."
Enjoyed all of these books and looking forward to the next. The 1st one was a bit tedious to get through, but once entrenched in the story it becomes more enjoyable and more addicting. Not a 5-star, but worth the read if you seek a decent series.
Others I enjoyed are: Shifters (by Rachel Vincent), Need/Captivate (Carrie Jones), Sue Grafton (Kinsey series) and Jeanne C.Stein (Anna Strong.
