"A Reference Book for Interviewing"
This book is a primer on interviewing only suitable for the first-time interviewers. On a micro level, it's a book of lists with no concrete advice or specific examples of how to answer common (or for that matter tricky) questions. On a macro level, it provides no overall interviewing strategy, ie how to structure your 30 minutes in the chair. I've read 2 other books on this topic, and in comparison, I found Kranich's book to be a complete waste of time.
An avid reader, who also loves to listen.
"Worth the Listen"
You would think that much of this is common sense but when it comes to people, common sense isn’t always common. Love the do’s and the don’ts section and overall, I thought this was well worth the listen. Great narrator too.
"Not Useful"
Bought this because I had a job interview coming up, but found most of the advice in this book was simple and obvious. This must be aimed at people who have never done an interview before, not people who want to improve their interview skills.
