"Shalvis delivers another winner with this passionate and uplifting yarn." (Publishers Weekly)
I have an addiction to Audio books. What I can't get at the library, I come to Audible and they are always having a sale. I have way more audiobooks than I could possible listen to in over 3 years, but I can't help but adding to my collection and I read a little of everything but mostly romance and paranormal goodies.
"Crush on the Doc."
This book is similar to the first book, only not quite as quirky, more serious. I enjoyed the first book more, but this book was pretty good just not great. If the next couple of books in the series comes out on Audible, I would listen to them. Karen White was good, I thought she sounded like Meredith Grey off of Grey's Anatomy.
"This one surprised me!!!"
If your looking for a good love story this is the one for you. This is a straight forward love story, no vamps, wolves, or changlings. Just a good honest love story with alot of fun and a strong cast of supporting characters. Its hard to find a good book while waiting for my favorite authors to put out something new, but this is a good book. If you don't like love stories, then this is not the book for you.
"MAGNETISM OF ANY KIND"
Yes. Continues the lives introduced in the first book.
I would have added a little more drama, romance, sex. This installment in the series is a little flat. I like a story that produces a bit of anxiety and suspense/drama.
I like Karen White with the exception of the "hitches" in her sentences/words. Could have flowed better and male voices could have been more distinct. Not a deal breaker for me, however.
Yes. We were introduced to other characters, Adam being one. Let's hear more about him.
"Even better than the first book in the series."
I like almost all of the Jill Shalvis books I've listened to. Love the "Lucky Harbor" series and this is right up there with that series.
"slow story, lethargic narrator"
Another narrator may have kept the story going for me -this one had a 'sad and sorry' tone most of the time -no man other than a shrink would be interested in a young woman who carried that dispostion around most of the time - so I don't think it was appropriate for the story!
I love books! Audiobooks take stories to the next level. I'm obsessed with Audible and will try to rate all of my books. Happy Listening! ;)
"Must love dogs... And sexy vets"
Another fun easy going romance by Jill Shalvis. A great beach listen. I really liked Dell and Jade's story. Playful banter and hot romance with a perfect happily ever after. As for the narration Karen White did significantly better with this book than with the first of the series. Very distinct characters and the added emotions of a good narration. All in all it was time and money well spent so I recommend it.

"Again!!!!"
Just as good as the first! Please write more and keep Karen White narrating!
