    "Juicy, Revealing, full of Suprises"

This as a quick listen that I really enjoyed. I've LOVED Madonna for years but this book comes as no suprise. IT's always interesting to get the "inside scoop" on the life of a famous person. I can understand why this book was at once painful and cathartic for Christopher to write. Here's to a job well done!

    "Interesting book"

I was expecting a rather nasty tell-all book but feel that Christopher Ciccone gave a very balanced and fair portrayal of Madonna and his relationship with her. I was even surprised at how he seemed to defend some of her actions. Christopher narrates the book himself which makes it more interesting although his delivery is quite monotone. Overall, it's an interesting book but if you are looking for any gossip like details, you won't find it here. It's a mature read and one which is good for passing a quiet afternoon.

    "Entertaining and Comforting"

Christopher's voice is very deep and very comforting. It also provides a very deep look into his relationship with one of the most influential woman of modern time. Christopher accuses Madonna of not being genuine and staging certain performances. I believe it. I also believe that this book is a largely accurate account of their relationship it may be slightly glorified to make for a juicy read. Madonna is explained in terms which are human and expected. Her character and her expectations of Christopher are quite normal if not a little controlling. There are moments when you cringe for him. There are moments when you cheer for him. There are moments when you cry with him. There are moments when you really wish that nothing could stand between a brother and his sister.

    "Mindless Fun"

A fairly predictible payback from Madonna's brother, but it's totally easy to listen to and if you're a Madonnaophile then it's wickedly fun, too. It made my flight from Calgary to NYC "fly!"

    "Very Enttertaining"

I loved this audiobook. It was filled with all kinds of fun facts about Madonna and was an interesting perspective. The narration is a little boring and monotone, but the stories keep you going.

    "Worthwhile"

SPOILER: He's gay and Madonna's a bitch. Surprise!!

Still, an interesting book. His voice kind of bugged me, because it's very low pitched. But if you like celeb tell alls, it's not bad. Not depressing - it has a cool tone.
