"Well worth the wait!"
I have waited for YEARS for an unabridged version of this book to be produced and had begun to give up hope. With all the mediocre books being recorded at a dizzying rate these days it seems many great earlier works by authors are not prioritized. Thank the romance gods that this classic has been given its due. The narration is magnificent and the story still breathtakingly beautiful. If you have read the story I can assure you that it is even more wonderful in audio, if not, please DO NOT MISS one of the best romance novels ever written!

"A MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR FOR ANY ROMANCE LOVERS"
This is one of those books that I loved and hated all at the same time - my dilemma is based purely on the heroine's personality she was soooooo incredibly stupid, boring and weak and certainly didn't deserve her handsome Knight in shining armour.
But at the same time it was romantic, funny, touching and sad and it will have you guessing how it will end - which was a real surprise .... I kept thinking "any minute now" but I just didn't see that one comming.
Worth a credit? It seemed more YA but thoroughly enjoyable for us romantics - so it's a YES from me.10 of 11 people found this review helpful -

"Not my favorite Jude Deveraux"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?Probably only to someone who reads all the time and likes this author
Would you recommend A Knight in Shining Armor to your friends? Why or why not?I read great reviews and love this author so was excited to listen to it. I travel a lot for work so go through at least 2 audio books a week. This was a fun read but there are other time travel books I have enjoyed more and this was not up to par with many other of Dude Deveraux's books. I am in the minority on this however. Many people rave about it so I would say listen for yourself and decide.

"A Knight In Shining Armor"
Would you be willing to try another one of Steve West’s performances?Not if it's a romance, no.
Any additional comments?This is a romance, and the lead character is a woman. The story is read by a man and it distracted me through the entire story. Especially in explicit love scenes from the POV of a female. I guess he does an okay job, but whenever he spoke in the voice of Douglas I cringed. The story is okay, a bit fluffy. But, if you're into a romantic time travel mood this'll do. Good enough to make me buy a few more Judy Devereaux books with my credits :-).

"Kept Me Interested"
This is my first J Deveraux book. The begining was hard to put up with. I hated for the heroine to be so weak of character. However, as the story progressed, I was able to experience her change step by step until she became a strong and confident woman. This is a story of hope and love that surpasses all barriers of time. I also enjoyed the small bits of historical fact regarding everyday living in Elizabethan times. I usually like a bit more spice in the books I listen to but there was enough to make the book a good listen. For a time travel story, it was an enjoyable one. I'll probably be buying more Deveraux novels.

"Are you kidding me?"
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?I've read and owned a lot of books in my years - the story was okay but this female had to be the weakest idiot I've ever read about!!!
