What's a girl to do when her fiance won't set a date for the wedding? Pretend to have an affair with the best man, of course.

"Boring and Annoying"
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?This could have been a better story if the heroine wasn't so obnoxious and naive. The male lead came off as weak and a push over and saw the female lead's obnoxious behavior as cute...it was not cute.
Would you ever listen to anything by Cindy Procter-King again?no
How could the performance have been better?I like a narrator who can make a man sound and act like a man - both the man and the woman in this book came off as feminine and a bit on the numb side.
You didn???t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?I kept listening thinking it might at least have a good ending...I was dissapointed.
Any additional comments?I prefer authors like Susan E. Phillips, Rachel Gibson, Lori Foster, and Susan Andersen - all authors who portray strong women and strong men. The absolute best narrator I have ever had the pleasure to listen to was Anna Fields, who sadly passed away...but she was AMAZING.

"A good chic listen"
Any additional comments?Nikki had the perfect plan. She would Kidnap, or borrow her fiancé's best man to convince the gun-shy groom that it is time to settle down. Nikki wants Roy to come dashing after them in a fit of jealous rage, but when days go by without even a peep she wonders if she can resist the tempting Alex anyway.
Alex, the handsome history professor, figures that Nikki has lost it. Roy has been telling him for years about how ditzy his fiancée is. Now seeing her in action, Roy may be right. When Nikki's logic starts to make sense even to Alex, he knows that his friend is going to lose the beauty that has now stolen his heart.
I really enjoyed Borrowing Alex, it was smart and funny without being overdone. The characters do some pretty funny things in the name of love. I am definitely looking forward to reading the next book I find by Cindy Procter-King.0 of 0 people found this review helpful -
"Cliché"
I didn't know it was possible to cram so many cliches into one relatively short story. Just under six hours, and I had to force myself to listen. I can be a sucker for sweet romance, but this was bad. I wanted lemonade and got stuck with sticky molasses.
I got really frustrated, not only with the story but also the narration. There's only one word for it: slow. I don't recommend this story to anyone.0 of 0 people found this review helpful -
"Cute..."
Where does Borrowing Alex rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?Borrowing Alex is a nice change of pace from the books that i usually read. I'm glad that I took a chance on an author whom I've never heard of.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Borrowing Alex?I really enjoyed the antics of the older couple who lived next door.
